1. This place does not know how to detail a car. Go there for a car wash if you want but don't pay for detail as they will simply just give you a wash, wax, wipe down for the cost of a detail. I looked for the cheapest price and found this place and it showed in the work. 2. They overbooked, didn't bother to call and tell me they were running late. I arrived an hour before closing time and they had just started my car. When I dropped it off I was told it takes 3 hours to do a detail. But they felt the pressure seeing me there so attempted to complete the detail in one hour. Didn't clean the trunk or engine bay like i had paid for and tried to pawn it off as a complete job. I politely pointed out the missing work and they asked me to bring the car back in so they could take their time and do it right. I said no problem. Dropped it off for another full day. 3. Went to pick up the car and the job wasn't much better than before. I had already paid previously but wasn't offered anything for my troubles. Not a free car-wash coupon, a discount on my next detail, nothing. Not even a "sorry". 4. Upon closer inspection I saw moisture inside my trunk. I asked the main detailer to wipe it down and he did. On my drive back home I tried to play a CD and got an error. My CD player in the trunk was jammed and magazine wouldn't eject. The next morning I tried again and it finally ejected. The magazine came out with a good amount of water dripping down it. There was water all inside the CD player. I let it dry out as best I could but when putting the magazine back it, it got stuck again and hasn't worked since. For 2 weeks I called repeatedly and was told the owner is on vacation. After 2 weeks I finally got a hold of an owner and he asks "when did this happen?" I told him just over 2 weeks ago. He tells me "sorry, i'm a new owner and took over this place less than a week ago and am not responsible." He proceeds to give me the "previous owners" cell phone number which after multiple calls from multiple numbers has no answer(big surprise). I have since tried to call back several times to speak to the "new owner" and am simply told I will get a call back but over a week has gone by with no follow up. Avoid this place at all costs. The work is not great. The prices are false (they will tell you over the phone "everything" is included in their $99 detail package but) but that doesn't include engine bay cleaning like all other places. The "new" owners are taking no ownership of their workers which are the same since the change in ownership. I gave this place 3+ weeks to do right by me in helping me fix or replace my CD changer (no more than $80-100 used) or even offer something like a free detail in the future but absolutely nothing. Least I can do is help someone else face a similar issue with these guys. There are far better hand car wash and detail places in Jersey City.
