I bought a 20oz can that said it had pecans it did three to be exact. Why put it on the can? not a bad price but very little pecans.

Star Snacks advertised mixed nuts with 75% peanuts. There were about 25+% other nuts in the can and they tasted very good. However, with the number of complaints about Star Snacks and other brands, I may reduce my consumption of mixed nuts. It seems like a simple product to get to customers in good condition, but various brands are having their difficulties in numerous ways.

The worst!!! Mixed Nuts are 99% peanuts!! Half of a half peacan, three other nuts!! Very sad product. Leave it on the shelf. SAD

Bought a can of mixed nuts and a couple tasted a little funny. A few hours later was violently sick all night. Do not buy.

I bought a can of mixed nuts that had a rubber band in it. They never responded to my email or online contact.

Liars Liars Liars - Walmart shout be ashamed of themselves allowing these type of companies to scam their customers of their money. Mixed Nuts says 70% less peanuts, its more like 98% more peanuts. Get your advertisement correct and stop cheating people out of their money. I could have paid .50 cents for what I got for $2. Medallion Brand are scamming. Actually - 5 stars.

if i could rate this company with a negitave star rating i would, my family and i bought some of the star snack toffee peanuts and the trial mix. we had to return some of them to the store in which we bought them from for a foul odor and taste from them. we quite buying this brand for around a month and then tried them again to see if the issue had been fixed. we bought 4 cans, 2 which where trail mix and 2 being the toffee peanuts. 1 of these cans had the same issue as the others did a month before. i wrote a email the first time to the company with no reply. then last night i sent another one again for the same issue. the lady i spoke with was telling me their product are fine that its all tested before being sent out. she asked for the bottom number off the can and then told me that the code meaning is that its from 2010. that they are gonna send some samples of "fresh" product and that they will make sure they report this issue to the right person. the lady also told me this was not a issue with them but a issue with the company that resales the products to the grocery store. after getting off the phone with the lady, we got to looking at the bottom of the other cans we have, and they each have the same number on the bottom of the cans. so from what they are saying is that all the product we are buying are 3 years old? i think not. after doing a little searching online ive found report after report regarding the same issues with this company, people report getting sick from these, finding glass,metal,bugs,ect.. in these products. now something is really going wrong at this company to have this many report for the same issue and still nothing is being done. some reports date back to the year 2010 for the SAME issues. so that is telling me that this has been going on for years and the company really dont give a crap about the consumer or the product they put out. after reading this my family and i are DONE! with this company. i dont care what they say, from doing my research this is a on going issue that still isnt fixed. so star snacks you have lost another customer, wake up and fix your product and quit lying to people that email you, stop saying your not getting our emails, because my second one got there just fine, so i know good and well you got my first one. its not the distribution center for these stores, its your damn company, man up and admit to the issue and do a fricken recall before someone gets put in the hospital. BUYER BEWARE!

"Less Than 70% Peanuts"? I THINK NOT.



This brand is pretty dang misleading. Like, holy cow, you have no idea. The can advertises that there's "less than 70% peanuts", when in reality, it's more like "more than 100% peanuts". A fun side note: the allergy information panel thing on the back states "May contain other tree nuts." Key word being "may." That, or they don't know what the word 'may' even means. I'm pretty dang disgruntled, and I can tell you right now that I won't be buying any more of their nut products.

Spend a little more and buy another "Mixed Nuts". Star Snacks "Medallion Mixed Nuts" says less than 75% peanuts. It would be correct to delete the 'less than'. The can is almost all peanuts. As a consumer, I refuse to buy from a company that misleads me. I'll let Walmart's know their vendor is not truthful.

I purchased Imperial Nuts mixed nuts salty and found a very hard odd shaped, cone looking thing in my nuts, I nearly broke my tooth off, as I bit into it. I am sending it back to you along with explanation. I am not satisfied with purchase plus it says less than 65% peanuts, that is false most of the can was peanuts very few cashews, brazil nuts, or peacans...

I don't know much about the company, but this is the only place I could find online about star snacks. After reading all the previous reviews, I feel like the odd ball here, but I LOVE the toffee peanuts that star snacks makes. I have eaten them every day since I discovered them about 2 years ago. I have tried other toffee peanuts made by planters and diamond peanuts and I think that they are awful. Had to throw them out.

Whenever I go someplace that has star peanuts, I will buy all the toffee peanuts that they have on the shelf. They are delicious!

I was "firrrreed", on day 88 before getting my insurance, I was systematically let go. The reason for the firing, in my opinion, was so that I don't get insurance. So here goes some facts on Star Snacks, they use "Bait and Switch" when it comes to customer complaints. For example, Customer A buys a product from Aldi's, Rite Aid, and/or Dollar General, cutomer complains about the taste, texture, whatever. Customer A calls Star Snacks, complaints about the product got QC, QC "person" who deals with the complaints tells Customer A will check production specs, "to see what is wrong", The lie to the customer. Customer gets a "new batch" based on redoing the whole process over. Customer A gets a "fresh batch", everyone is happy! :) sarcasism

NASTY, I WROTE A BUNCH BUT IT FRIGGIN VANISHED WHEN I HIT SUBMIT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR CHOCOLATE COVERED WHOLE CASHEWS, GROSS~!

My Mother bought a can of mixed nuts and there was a cooked WORM in there. We are completely disgusted! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Don't waste your money on the Mixed Nuts, NEVER again will I buy from this company. The can said "Less than 65% peanuts", That is pretty much all that was in the can was peanuts. If you want to treat yourself to some nuts, Spend a little extra and go with PLANTERS!!

My family loved their 'RICE CRACKER' Snack Mix 'Original' and was one of our favorite snacks, and it was available at the dollar store 'Dollar Tree'.



Today I went to buy more, and to my horror, they changed the product.



The package says the same thing, that the product was exactly the same, except now it says on it....."25% MORE" at the top of the package, and there does seem to be more.



But, the rice crackers are NOT THE SAME & ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO AS GOOD. I DON'T CARE FOR 25% MORE OF SOMETHING THAT NOW IS NOT VERY GOOD.



I AM UPSET AS THIS WAS ONE OF OUR FAMILY'S FAVORITE SNACKS, THEY JUST TOOK THAT AWAY!!!!!!!!



GIVE ME THE OLD RECIPE BACK AND TAKE THE 25% BACK, DON'T CARE FOR MORE, JUST WANT WHAT WAS IN THE BAG BEFORE!!!



WILL NOT BUY NEARLY AS MUCH, IF ANY AGAIN NOW, WAY TO GO STAR SNACKS.....ABSOLUTELY BAD BUSINESS DECISION!!!!!!!

stay away. bought a can of whole cashews. whole? halves and pieces. now i realize that the picture on the can said "enlarged to show texture", but the few whole cashews that were in the can had neither the color nor the texture of the picture. these were the scrawniest, most overcooked cashews ever.

Bought a can of "deluxe mixed nuts" that were supposed to include walnuts, and there was a total of 2 walnuts in the entire 10 oz can! What a joke.
