Rosie's Mark Twain Manor
210 Liberty St, Jamestown, PA 16134
I really enjoyed this place! The food is something to expect from a diner, large portions for a low price. The staff is nice and very helpful, the owner is super nice. The history behind the house is amazing and Rosie will tell you all about it! The old architecture of the place is BEAUTIFUL, tons of books and you can walk around and see the history behind the building. I like it, I would come back to it.
Wow...If there was Rosies restaurant or nothing else to eat....eat nothing. This was one of the worst restaurants that you could eat at. The owner serverd you with plastic gloves, they could not remember who ordered what and the food..boy the portions were large enough to feed most of your family for the better portion of a week. The food was dry, smothered with gravy, for those who feel they are not getting enough fat in your diet. Finally there is desert. We asked for pie from the menu, but there were few available. So....we asked for what they had and they brought it to us in to go boxes, as they heard one person ask for their desert to go, we all had it to go and when we pointed that out, they said, yeah, we went ahead and did that before I could catch her to stop her......Wow...and these people want business and a tip. I am not from this area, but I will tell you, I would never encourage anyone to sit in the freezing cold eat a months worth of fat and during the month of March which is the nation better nutrion month.....Great! We won't be back to this dive........
