We LOVE Animal House! We have boarded pets there and groomed them as well and have never been treated like anything but family by the staff. When our Golden, Allie, was old and sick they took very good care of her when we had to go out of town for a funeral. They made sure she had her meds on time and took her out to exercise away from younger, jumpier dogs. After she passed away, and the grieving was not so raw, we adopted a mini schnauzer from a rescue. This dog is the exact opposite of our docile Allie. He didn't have a very good life before we got him and that left him with some issues. But the staff understands and they have helped us a lot with working through those. He goes in from grooming and Leslie always does a great job with him. She 'gets' him. When we first started taking him there, I couldn't get him out of the car. He was terrified. I went inside and Wanda came out and coaxed him out of the car. Had to do that a couple times, but now he jumps out, pees on the plants and saunters in the door like he owns the joint.I can't recommend this place highly enough
If I could just do three and a half stars that's what I would have done it sounds weird but they are good there were just some things that I wasn't too happy with. First off they have cameras so that you can log in and watch your pup play for day care which is cool and nice but their website doesn't work all the time. They are suppose to call you when you pup goes out there to play but they don't always do that. We have done multiple day cares and did 1 week of boarding. The daycare has never been a problem but after a week of boarding my dog has had a personality change towards people more specifically men and it has made me wonder what or if something bad had happened to him there. He seems more fearful now. Other than that there really isn't anything terrible to report and if you do daycare it's great but I'm skeptical about the boarding.
I absolutely love Animal House. We have a 100lb lab/boxer and he is a big baby. We boarded him when he was 3 months old and they did wonderful. We got a report card for each day. Since he started getting bigger I take him to get groomed. He gets bathed, brushed, nails done, ears, and anal glands for only $40! Sylvia does an amazing job!! My dog loves her and she loves him!! I highly recommend them. We have been getting him groomed for about 8 months. I will not go anywhere else!!
I brought my two goldendoodles here to be groomed, and they had some matting. They did a wonderful job grooming them. They looked beautiful, and had no skin irritation. The price was great for the grooming services. The staff was very friendly, too! I highly recommend them.
I took my 75 lb German Shepard in today for a full groom! Great price for a great groom! She looks and smells amazing! And her shedding is almost down to nothing! Highly recommend!
Finally found a place that doesn't charge an arm and a leg with my Alaskan Malamute. I've been calling around for months trying to get a place that won't break the bank, and the moment I say her breed I was normally quoted $130+, but not here, my extremely shy and very very nervous with strangers went today and they did amazing with her. She got a bath with special de-shedding shampoo and conditioner, plus a full brushing and it wasn't even $100! Not to mention they did a report card on her and told me what and how she did there. While she was in grooming my boy went to doggie daycare and he loved it, he got a report card as well and I got to enjoy watching him on their live feds. I highly recommend them, they understand what it meant to get the learn everything about a dogs personality and recommend certain things for the future. Also side note, my boy has gotten groomed there and he is very sensitive and allergic to a lot of products, it wasn't even an issue and they called to double check if a certain shampoo would be alright to use even after I gave them a list, because they didn't want to cause him discomfort.Wish I could post photos with reviews because I Absolutely love animal house, and my babies will definitely be returning.
Just brought our 100 pound Great Pyr/Great Dane mix to Animal House for grooming. I dropped her off at 8:30am and picked her up at 2:30pm. When I brought her in the groomer asked what I wanted done and I told her I’ve never had a dog that needed grooming so I have no clue and I knew that was a open window for her to scam me into paying more for what she really needed since I’m new to grooming and she didn’t at all. She charged me 60$ for a full grooming. They don’t charge based on just breed. They charge on the thickness of the coat and how long it’ll take unlike petsmart who didn’t even see her and quoted me over 130$. They also gave us a “report card” of what all she got and when they’d like to see her back. I was very pleased.
We have been bringing our golden doodle for grooming and boarding for over two years. We LOVE animal house! She was very matted this time around and really needed a big hair cut. Her shave was the best she's ever had. We prefer her long haired but when she has to get shaved we take her to Animal House. When she was matted so badly we expected her to be a bit sore in spots but had no raw spots. Ray really gave her the best shave she's ever had! You should trust any of your animals with Animal House.
Reasonablly priced. The staff cares for your pet as if they are their own. We love them and so does our pup. The only place I would ever board my pup and he loves to go for camp
A new place I can bring my dog to socialize, he's a little shy.. I love the doggy daycare especially so he can interact with some other big dogs..They have done a great job already!
