Good all around guys.Had them replace a very negelected roof. Roof completed in reasonable time frame considering the damage. Ground looked better when they left then it did before they came. we have since been through a huricane since and didnt loose one shingle. Recomended!

Thank you Vic for all the work on our rental unit. After seeing all the damage caused by the tenants you guys showed me I thought it was hopeless. We will definitely be talking to our property management company ! What a mess, but it could have been so much worse! Thank you guys again and God Bless, Keep up the great work.

Due to storm damage our roof was a total loss. Called many other companies who did not even show for an estimate. Roof 2 floor showed up on time and gave a very good quote. They got us in very fast considering how many people were and still are without roofs. Only "issue" I had was when Vic himself wasn't on the job some of his guys did little to no work. Roof took a few days longer then scheduled, but was always sealed in so no harm done. I'm guessing it was hard finding reliable workers with all the other companies needing workers too. His "ground girls" were amazing! Site was super clean when they left, they even used a leaf vac to get little scraps of tar paper. Would recomend

Had major storm damage from Florence. Vic came out personally as soon as roads cleared and tarped my roof. He even waited for payment since I had only enough cash to get food, after my box goods was ruined. He even came back with canned goods for me and my son. Will hire him when my insurance pays me to replace the roof and for the inside work.

Just to make it clear . I do not normally right reviews. I feel that a business should strive to do a good job and each person should be able to judge performance by themselves. This business breaks that mold. They went way above and beyond anything I could imagine. I buy and sell (flip) houses and got caught with what I expected to be a total loss. To top it all of I ended up having surgery and couldn't do any work myself. I was bed ridden and my wife hired these guys of a local web page add . When I was able to finally get to the house I was shocked at what had been accomplished within a very low budget. Their fabrication skills are unmatched as far as I am concerned. They really took a lump of %&^& and turned it into a diamond. I can not say enough . Thank you guys and I will use you again! You are my first review EVER! You earned it !

Had Roof to Floor come out and provide an estimate on a new fence and shed. Prices where very competitive. The owner was very helpful as we really did not know what we wanted in terms of shed size. We ended up with a 14x14 with over head loft. He charged about the same as a pre-fab but we got way better quality. He helped us decide to go with a shadow box fence since we live in a new development and there are few trees to block wind. We have since had a hurricane and the fence did not budge. We also had them fix a section of our roof others have attempted to repair and a few weeks later the leak returns. It's been a few months and still no leak. Would recommend to anyone

My mom (76) had an issue with another company failing to complete work, they and come out and removed a section of her roof without authorization and left it exposed when she would not pay them for this. We had rain incoming and would have been in a huge mess. We noticed a couple workers a few houses down and figured maybe they could put a tarp up for us. I went over and explained the situation and the workers called their boss , to see what they could do. Within 15 minutes Vic was at my moms house. After explaining to him the story he quickly got his guys to tarp in the roof at no charge. He then explained if we signed a contract with him and gave a deposit he could be there the next day to fix the roof. I was leery of giving any money up front, but we did release $25 ( I felt the roof tarping was worth that). I went and got shingles. The next day at 9 am he was there with 2 of his guys. The job was finished in about an hour and a half. While they were up there they located 3 other leaks and fixed them with silicone, since my mom could not pay for a complete fix. They did not even charge for the silicone ! We will be calling these guys again, and again, and again.

Did much research on companies to do my roof and fix some sheetrock. Let me say I am very thorough . Roof to floor was honest from the start. They did not claim to be something they were not as some other "licensed" companies did. They acted very professional , and gave me multiple choices on ways to repair what was needed. Their prices were very reasonable. Their work was very good. They cleaned up everyday they left. I would recommend over and over.

My roof was a total loss due to a hurricaine. I contacted 3 roofers and chose to go with Victor. From the start he was fair and professional. He provided several options and explained what each would entail. I was thankful for his contract as I've encountered a shady person in the past. His communication before, during and after the job was exceptional. I would recommend Victor to anyone and will definitely work with him again! Thank you!

Had them do work on a home I purchased for my daughter. House needed a lot of work and figured I could save money buy getting a handyman company to do everything. The owner knew a lot about many different things. He also knew some other companies who he could call in if needed. All in all the project went well. My only complaint was the time frame almost doubled. This caused my daughter (and two dogs)to have to live with my wife and I for 30 days. The owner said this was because another company he called in to repair the sewer line, did not show up on time. I feel that is part of project management, and should have been addressed. The owner did however fence in he back yard at no labor charge, to make up for the inconvience.

I have used Roof to Floor for a few years now. They have done many different jobs for me . The owner Vick, is very friendly. He tries his best to make jobs affordable for everyone. He also does not insist on using his own materials as many other contractors do. (MARK UP!) I see from some of the comments below, that may have got him in trouble. I will say this, if you give him what he asks for , and do not take short cuts, he will give you a good product. When it comes to Roofing, do yourself a favor and listen to what he advises. He may not know all the terminology but he knows what he is doing. I learned this early on , when he suggested we replace a section of our roof that was not leaking. He said that the way it was done would end up leaking over time. Almost 9 months later the roof failed in that area. It ended up costing us 3 months of lost rent. I can not stress enough how much money we have saved with these guys.

Beware of Roof 2 Floor, I don't want anyone getting ripped off as I did. There is a reason they ask for payment up front...they don't show up for work, they steel materials you may have on site, they do not know simple construction and are far from professionals! They couldn't properly install doors, windows, not even paint! They take shortcuts and will try to hide it. Do yourself a favor and research them to see what others that have been scammed say about them. I did...after I hired them and I have not read any positive responses.

We make every attempt to make every customer happy . However I would just like to say we can only work with the materials we are given. Contract was set up for customer to supply materials. Materials that were supplied to site was insufficient and poor quality. Boards had been used prior and some were painted on one side, others contained nails and dry rot. Most where warped bowed and twisted. Doors supplied were incorrect sizes. Customer refused to have frames replaced even though frames where obviously out of square, some up to 3 inches. The old doors had been modified to make up for this. Windows had been installed by ANOTHER CONTRACTOR, the "trim" around these windows was a hodgepodge of used lumber. We agreed in our contract to attempt to make all window trim to match, in design, and did so to the best of our ability with the wood provided. Customer only wanted to pay for 1 coat paint (White) even though we needed to paint over dark colors. Paint was dated 2002 according to the label. Paint was separated to the point of being so hard on bottom it actually burned out the mixing drill. When asked to supply extra paint we were given 3 different colors/brands of white( 1 High gloss, 1 flat , and one exterior Egg shell ) and told to mix them to paint the inside (ceiling included). The "stolen" materials referred to is 1 (ONE) new 2x4 that was on site. This board was used to brace a window. As for not showing up, I personally PAID $100 for material with the agreement I would be reimbursed the following day. Customer then refused. In addition we had no usable material on site to continue work. An employee reported that Customer also was demanding additional repairs not on contract. We made multiple attempts over 3 days to contact customer. Multiple voice mails were left with no response . Therefor we took another small job while we waited for these issues to be resolved. Customer responded after 5 days and was upset that we had not completed work. We attempted to resolve the issues at that time to no avail, We were ordered by customer to take our tools and leave, 90% of the contract was completed, we were only paid the initial deposit. Unfortunately as I have said multiple times some people want quality results but do not want to pay for such.

This company (if you can call it that) is one to steer FAR away from at all costs. Unfortunately I had the displeasure of doing business with them. The small project was supposed to be finished BY June 30th at the absolute latest as we were relocating half way across the country and the house had to be rent or sale ready by July 3rd. They didn't even show up until June 29th! These guys were so full of excuses, workers didn't even show up for days at a time. Inaccurate measurements of my kitchen floor caused them to not buy enough materials and then when they went back OF COURSE they were out of stock. Told me constantly that the materials were on a truck coming to the local Home Depot. REFUSED to go to the next town over to get materials to complete the project, stating so many excuses that I would think that these guys were cursed. We had to leave in the middle of them doing the project. We left a friend in charge with overseeing which VICK was ok with, but soon after things started to get ugly (uglier!) he tried to tell us that letting her oversee them was breech of contract. Vick likes to threaten to take you to court if you do not pay him before he has finished the project. I wish we would have gone because there is no way he would have won, especially after I filed a police report because he or his employees stole items from my property! One took a Japanese Maple, dug it right up out of the ground! My neighbor saw the mailman deliver a package while they were working (the ONLY ones there) and within the 2 minutes it took her to text me and walk over someone had sliced the box open and took it! This company is a joke and I honestly should sue them for a refund due to all the emotional stress I had to endure working with them (if you can even call it that). If I went into all the details I would have to write an expose! I was far more patient and nicer than I should have been with them. They definitely do NOT use the right equipment and and their work is slapped together at best. I am so afraid that we are going to have to redo most (if not all) of the work that they did. NOT worth the headache to save a few bucks. I WISH I found the bad reviews that are now popping up before hiring them. STAY AWAY!

Please refer to BBB complaint by this same customer. All is explained there. However for fast version- Job was started as contract stated by the 29th. Contract was sent to BBB for review. Customer agreed to many things and after changed mind. We made many attempts to resolve this but customer would not co-operate. Customer was only concerned about getting a refund. Employee was GIVEN tree by customer. This was verified by another employee who later changed story after CUSTOMER PAID HIM an ADDITIONAL $50 for work already listed on contract. This Employee was fired for improper conduct and after changed story. NO proof of a package was ever supplied. A OPENED package was left on the porch when customer left. We requested access to the "witness" and was never supplied with information. In addition no police report was filed as we requested. Customer claimed to have filed one but no record is with Jacksonville PD nor Onslow county Sheriffs office. Customer left a friend in charge who demanded things be redone and finished to her taste, even though it was agreed to be done a certain way prior by customer. in the contract we are to be given a MINIMIM of 24 hrs notice is customer will be leaving an outside party in charge. We were told 10 minutes before customer left the state. As for material, customer requested COUNTRY PINE. We bought everything Home Depot had in stock. Home depot told us more would be delivered that Friday. It ended up on back order. We offered to go to Wilmington to get more (about 3 hrs round trip) for an extra fee. Customer refused. Customer breached the contract in many aspects as the BBB investigation shows.

Had them out for a plumbing estimate. Gave a great estimate and he was really friendly. Came out next day did all work and left. Plumbing leaked same night. Came out again and 'fixed' it, still leaked. this happened a couple more times until eventually he just did not show up when they said they would. Had every excuse under the sun, he has to be the unluckiest man in the world (sarcasm). Did not answer phone calls nor call me back until I threatened to sue him. Then his plumber called me. His excuse was he thought the job was done. Hello! This is your business you do the follow up. I asked for my money back once he did not show up yet again and he refused. He did not pull the proper permits. I asked about them and he said I did not need one when I hired him then all of a sudden the permit was on ME if I WANTED one. Last time I checked I didn't make the law, so it should not be up to me if I wanted one...

Don't even get me started on the Hardiebacker job he did. Lets just say I have to hit the local Lowes and spend another $70...

Long review short. Hire someone else.

We have been to this house multiple times. Every time when we left pipe was NOT leaking. Customer herself checked pipe every time. Pipe was even sealed with epoxy rated at 500 lbs . Pipes showed signs of tampering, possibly due to the mounting of tile in the area. Epoxy was cracked on third visit. A 4th visit was scheduled but customer was not home at agreed upon time. A please call note was left by employee. Customer called employee 2 days later and employee informed customer he had a family emergency and to contact the owner. Customer contacted myself 2 days after. Employee was sent over and found further signs of modification. Backer board that we hung had been cut and moved and pipe was again leaking. We still agreed to fix leak however customer demanded full refund. Customer stated she called another plumber and he had "moved things around for access" . This violates the original contract as any repairs must be performed by a ROOF TO FLOOR employee. Customer was told before job started that all permits were the responsibility of the customer. OUR CONTRACT STATES THIS ALSO. Customer was also advised that we were not licensed plumbers and it was unknown if a permit was needed. Customer stated she had called local building dept. and no permit was needed.
