I’ve tanned at many tanning salons and the people rarely know what they’re talking about which makes me nervous since we’re dealing with my skin! The new Salon Director at Sun Tan City is phenomenal. She educates her clients (and employees!!) on what products are beneficial instead of just trying to make a sale. I love that all the employees take the time to show the difference in prices and how I can save money! I’ll never want to tan anywhere else. The beds, and the salon are the cleanest and such a great atmosphere! I love coming in to tan here!
love this place. The staff is the friendliest people i know. They greet you as soon as you walk through the door and always has a friendly greeting and smile, and that says alot to me. Ive been going there over a year and will continue to go.Ive priced other places but this has the best prices by far.Try it and I quarentee youll enjoy it as much as I do and Im 60 years old.Youre never to old to get a fantastic tan from fantastic people.
I went here with issues that they said they could fix which didn't happen they added more to the problem. They put 4 different dyes in my hair back to back and caused a severe issue with my scalp. I did ask for a refund with the 24 hour time period which I haven't gotten yet. Please do some research before using this salon.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They messed up my hair and refused to redo it for free or refund my money. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone!
Have been getting my hair cut from Martha for 12+ years. Best hair cut in town hands down. Their attention to detail is off the charts. This isn't your average 2 min cut and get out of the chair. All the girls take their time and do it right!
Amy has been doing my hair for over 15 years. I love to change the color and cut on a regular basis. Not only is she extremely talented but she knows my hair and my lifestyle and works with both to keep me feeling beautiful.
Bad BAD service at Cut and Curl on Marine Blvd. next to Wallmart. THE COLOR; 1. I ran my hand thru the back of my hair at the nap and it came out slick, greasy, and black. She did'nt rinse my hair good enough!2. There was black stain all around the perimeter of my whole face. I had to request her to please try and get it off.3. She said "I guess I didn't leave the color in long enough" as you could still see alot of grey hair in the front and the temples.THE CUT; 1. There was a huge chunk missing in the longest layer right in the front. Neither side of my face was cut even at all. I went back for the second time that day with special request to rewash it. After she used an ungodly amount of shampoo I made sure to ask "pls let's rinse it out one more time just to be sure." The girl was so slow and unskilled thank-god the older more experienced hair dresser in the next stall stepped in. I felt like one of those dummy heads in beauty college as the other hairdresser gave her lessons, basically attempting the best she could to match up my hair. In the meantime, between her stinky pits and cigerette smell the flys would not get off me. I had to request a flyswatter. The whole shop was really old and dated. Not necessarily dirty dirty, but deffinitly in need of repair as looking around lots of things were damaged and broke. $75.00 is $75.00. I mustered up the courage the next morning to request at least a refund for the hair cut , as dispite problems with the messy proceedure and poor coverage, I did like the new color. I spoke to the owner. In poor english, hard to understand, speaking too fast and DOMINATING the conversation she refused a refund for the cut. She wanted me to come in again to this gross place and said she personally free of charge would re-color and re-cut my hair. No. 1 I couldn't understand her. No.2 She totally walked all over me trying to understand and communicate my discrepancies. Finally, I had to hang up on her. She absolutely wouldn't listen making all kinds of excuses and wanting to recompense in her own way. I even told her I really hate to make public complaints on FB but I will. I wanted my cut refunded and that's it. The whole experience went from bad to worse. All together between the first visit and the second visit in one day I wasted at least 5 hrs and 75.00 bucks. TG for the older more experienced hairdresser that recut everything the best she could. I hate to think what that newbie would have done. I'm just trying to spare a few ppl, DON'T GO TO CUT AND CURL ON MARINE BLVD. They won't give your money back after jacking up your hair.
Beware run from this place. Went in for eyebrow wax the lady really messed them up. Tried to call they don't even answer the phone. Glad I decided to wait on a hair cut.will never go there again
Prices depend on who is working. I have felt insulted and degraded by certain employees. I really hate this salon and most of their eemployees who think they are better than everyone else. Don't waste your money on this salon.
My husband went in spur of the moment for a haircut last weekend not only did they give him a horrible military hair cut but they were extremely rude. Long story short I came in and asked my husband for the keys to the car and one of the hair stylist just walked up and stood right in front of us, interrupted me while i was talking and made an extremely rude snarky dependent joke about how he should just give me his whole wallet with his credit cards in it as well. We did not tip. Horrible service do not recommend this place to military family.
