Today I was in the Jacksonville, NC Goodwill store. The manager booted an obviously aged woman, a senior citizen in her 80's out of the chair. In addition to the senior woman, she also told a gentleman holding a baby that they were not allowed to sit in the chairs. Firstly, the chairs are used! It's the Goodwill for Pete's sake! We are not talking high end expensive furniture. The old woman clearly had a full shopping cart and was probably resting her tired body. Or .. as there are no "proper" chairs she may have been trying on shoes. Or... perhaps she was considering for purchase the chair. The gentleman same thing. Seriously, that was a dick move in behalf of the management. Can't sit in a Goodwill chair - toss 'em out.(?)With that complaint being said, they do not allow seniors and people with babies to sit in an old wooden chair but patrons with their rear end exposed is perfectly acceptable?
