I have lived in Jax, for 30 years, eaten at this AppleBees many, many times. I have always been greeted upon arrival within a couple of minutes at the most, treated with respect, seated at clean tables and the food is awesome! Our waiters were always attentive to our needs so what these other reviews are saying is untrue, or maybe the restaurant was packed as it usually is and they were being taken care of asap!!! Also I have worked at restaurants as a waitress when I was much younger in a resort town and people are just human, and not there just to make sure that everything goes to your upmost expectations!!!They are there to make it a nice experience and if you want the best then go to Lynn's Steakhouse and pay 70.00 dollars for a meal.
O Charley's didn't make our top favorites list but we still really enjoyed our experience and will probably go again at some point. The bread rolls were very tasty and the food was hot and satisfying. Like any sit down restaurant, there is a bit of a wait before the food arrives but I do not think that it was unreasonable. Our waitress did a great job.

The food wasn't very good and while the service was fine, we would have appreciated it if they had shown us how to use the new pay-at-your-table machine. We were able to figure it out on our own but it would have been nice if they had explained it to us.
We've been to this Apple Bee's several times and really enjoy the food but the service leaves a lot to be desired. It takes a long time for the food to arrive and the waiters and waitresses haven't been very good about checking to make sure drinks stay full. They also forgot to bring us our appetizer last time but they did try to make up for it by giving us a voucher for a free dessert for the next visit.
