My Husband and I purchased a home from Tidewater Homes in March, 2016. Shortly after moving into the home our flooring began separating from the slab. It was caused by excessive moisture penetrating the slab. Over time, theproblem has gotten worse. Moisture from the slab has also caused excessive mold growth. It is now May, 2018. Tidewater has not fixed the problem. We retained an engineer who advised us that Tidewater Homes did not place a vapor barrier under the entire slab as required by the building code. When I made Facebook posts about our terrible experience with Tidewater Homes, they sued meand my Husband for Defamation. We retained a lawyer. Based on the advice ofour engineer and lawyer, we filed a counterclaim against Tidewater for the construction defects. Tidewater accused us of filing a frivolous counterclaim. They filed a motion to have the counterclaim dismissed and threatened to seek sanctions against us. Earlier this week, the Judge denied Tidewater's motion to dismiss our counterclaim. In the mean time, excessivemoisture is still penetrating our slab; our flooring is still separated from the slab; and we still have excessive mold due to the excess moisture. Choosing Tidewater Homes is the worst mistake we've ever made.

He Did a great job with our backsplash in our kitchen. he showed up on time stayed until the job was completed and was very professional. I did some digging and there are no police reports or complaints with the police department about him scamming this person below. Parker homes did the work I requested and even saved me some money when they didn't use all materials and I could take them back for a refund.

If you are looking for a new home builder, look no further. I think you will be hard pressed to find another builder who will build you a better home. We visited multiple homes by various builders priced at a similar price point at different phases of construction before deciding on Collins Builders. All the builders we considered final product looked great. However, the process of getting there, well, lets just say, many builders 'covered up' mistakes on a regular basis. Collins appeared to get it right the first time or got any mistakes corrected before it got covered up. Most builders we spoke with only required a boundary survey. Collins Builders did a boundary, tree, topo and elevation survey before construction. They also had an environmental engineer dig test bores were the foundation of the home was to be positioned to ensure that the soil would support the weight of a new home. This was done to help reduce/prevent foundation settling in the future. During the design process, my wife and I met with Ashley Collins and Danny Britt . We had our own house plans drawn up by an architect. Danny and Ashley were very knowledgeable and easy to work with during this process. They provided good input, suggestions to complement/enhance our home design. Steve Boure handled the oversight of our day to day build process. Steve did a great job ensuring that we got a quality built home! We cant thank him enough. Job well done Steve! He was on site most days of construction. The few days that he was not able to be on site, Danny and/or Ashley Collins were. Our home was completed on time and on budget. Steve Boure ensured any and all issues were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. It has been 12 months since we completed our home. We have only experienced 2 minor problems during ownership. Both problems were corrected quickly to our and to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Collins Builders.
Susan Severson!!!This is an agent with some real common sense and zeal. She has a great attitude, while also being very nice and friendly. She has a great amount of experience and education, but more than that she is just real. I like how well she knows her local and surrounding communities. She is very on the ball too, getting back to you very fast with updates and always answering her phone. Buying and selling can be difficult, and with a teammate like her on your side it is so much more seamless. I am excited to finally have the whole process behind me, and a new friend. Thank You

We had a rental off Mackinaw Road on Jacksonville Florida with this company (Feb 2015). When we signed the lease (which we still have for documentation as well as pictures) we were assured everything would be taken care of, like the roof leak in the back bedroom, peeling linoleum, doors that were warped, moldy smells after a week and so much more. We went ahead and paid $1300 to move in. Our AC wasn't installed until 2 days after we signed the lease and handed the keys. The back roof was reported when we spoke with them and signed the lease. There was water on the floor and it hadn't been cleaned and the leak hadn't been taken care of. I kept reporting it to the rental agency and they were just getting tired of me calling. Months later, they came out and put a tarp over our roof. I was so angry I kept calling. It got so bad I could see all the way through. It smelled so bad and it was making my daughter sick because she was in the room next to it. We paid them 1400 at one time and still have the receipt because we really wanted them to deal with it. The next week or so, there maintaince men came and tried just patching the ceiling up with white ceiling paste (best guess). That's all. So after giving them our 1400, we decided we had to save up and move due to our health declining. Before we did move, we also hired someone to check for mold. He determined there was mold, but had to check to see what different kinds there were. We didn't have the money to invest and had to cut ties. Now there collecting, on their evaluation sheet, they say we owe for damages like roof, carpet (when all floors were linoleum, which was in our contract. We took great care of that place. This company did an awful job and now are charging us $5,000 This is causing our family major strife as business owners. We have to hire a lawyer if nothing can be done on their side, which we don't want to do but will if we can't come up with a conclusion.
Everyone at the office is caring and very respectful. They make me feel like at home. From the moment I call to the moment I get there, I can not complain.
Never rent from this place! Beware. They hang up the phone on me. Block my email address from emailing them. It takes maintenance 5 days to come out. They had to repipe my house even though I thought the house was ready to go when I moved in. After said repipe my water bill went from $60 to $500, and I've called and told them that there's a leak and it's been almost 2 weeks with no response or fix. Now I'm on a 20 minute hold after being hung up on the first time. This is a horrible horrible company. Please never rent from them.
