We just moved into our new home. We left for 10 days out of the country. We came back to our gas cut off. The previous owner was supposed to wait for us but it didn't happen. First they were able to come in 3 weeks and after a long phone call cut it in half. It is still unacceptable! Almost 2 weeks with no hot water! They are so quick to cut the gas off but than they are fine with people living with no hot water! BUT if we pay more money we can get someone earlier.... Ask to speak with a manager, not possible. As I said, unacceptable.

Absolutely awful. We installed a pool/spa. They quoted us $300 estimate over the phone and took a $200 deposit. Showed up outside of the appointment window (no call). The technician did not seem to know what he was doing. Increased the estimate by 300 (Total 600). We called to schedule appointment my wife was on hold for an hour. They quoted us over $700. After keeping on her on hold for an hour they tried to sell her a prepay program for our propane tank. Rude and disorganized. Seem to have no idea what they're doing. Clearly overcharging. Initially they said they would come and do it in a week. Now they are telling us they can't come out for three weeks. Simple one hour job to run line from propane tank to heater on the spa. Do not use this company!!!!!
Horrible service, seem to be price gouging and they refuse to send anyone out to check equipment unless I pay 175 for inspection. My bill is 3 times the norm in my neighborhood. My neighborhood shares a public tank serviced by them, so now I'm installing electric throughout my house. Believe the other reviews and avoid this company. I'll be reporting to the better business bureau.
This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. Last year I wenr around and around with this company trying to get a replacement tank....they could never give me a firm date to deliver and then when i am not hime and my gate is closed, they show up to deliver a tank..this went on for two months until I no lomger needed gas...then they finally deliver when winter is over. when i didnt pay a fifty dollar tank rental fee for the upcoming year because i just wanted them to come get the tank and stop business with them, they charge a 36.00 late fee for a 42.00 balance...i called a month ago to have the tank removed, they gave me a date to pick up, were supposed to call me in the morning or day before with a time, neglected to do that, I called the morning of to ask WHEN?, was told someone would get back, nobody did, and of course a driver shows up late in the day when i am no longer home....tjis is the "service" you can expect from these incompetent people...now they are threatening to send me to collection co. because i refuse to pay the usurious late fee, and i have a 836 credit rating now!!!! You can sign up but you can never leave. Sawyer Gas is easily the worse company I have dealt with in 60 years. They will not come and get your tank if you want to quit using them, but they will continue sending bills for a "tank rental fee," plus massive late charges if you don't pay the rental fee on the tank you asked them to remove a year earlier, and have a bill collector call you and harass you. It is nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone, and they do not return phone messages. When you do manage to talk to someone, the individual seems polite and reasonable, but the bills keep coming. After many months of this nonsense, they finally came and removed their tank, but began sending a "final bill" based on a "service dispatch charge." Their office personnel say I have a zero balance, but I just got the second final bill today, threatening me with a late charge. Here we go again.

Worst customer service. They never seem to keep their word and will try to charge you for fixing their tank that I've been paying rent on for years. Unless you specifically desire cooking with gas, a lot, i would stay away from propane and these people
I have had there service for 5 years now they have very good with service in getting my lp gas but very very expensive for the price of lp gas as of 4/2/13 they are $3.77 a gallon which I have found to be $1.32 more than a competitor on the north side. I'm going to try and find a way out of this agreement.
I had AA Bottled Gas install an in-ground tank when I had a whole house generator installed 2007. I had bids and they were the lowest. They came out and did the work in one day. It took them longer then expected because of tree roots and clay, but did not charge extra. They gave me a good deal on the purchase of the tank because it was a 330 Gal special order that they had on hand. Since 07 they have delivered gas when I needed it. I'm very happy with the service. Note: If you want the best price on gas you need to own the tank you save like $2 per gal which really adds up. Plus you can buy from any gas company. I shopped around before re-ordering and found that AA is still the cheapest.
