I needed someone to come out and diagnose my washer at my apartment. I called around to a few places then I found A Plus. A Plus explained to me what happened over the phone after I told him the problem. I still needed them to come out and confirm that diagnosis for me so I asked him to come out. He was prompt, courteous, efficient, and completely customer service oreinted. The problem was that my washer had flooded over into my apartment and into four other apartments as well. The complex wanted to make me pay for it saying that it was not the machines fault. I knew better and found that it was the machines fault by using A Plus. A Plus not only left me with an invoice but they were also fantastic enough to take a copy to the office so that it could be proven that it was the machine that malfunctioned. If I could give A plus a better grade I would! My suggestion to anyone who needs service and/or repair is to call A Plus and you will always get the best.

Our employer recently switched its contract from Avis to Enterprise. Based on the first experience I wish we had stayed with Avis. The policy of "we will pick you up" adds a lot of extra time to your travel time waiting to be picked up or being dropped off. With Avis I could park my car in their fenced compound and drive off with the car without having to wait. Also, the car was not cleaned properly for this trip. We found a Doritos bag underneath the seat and a plastic cup. The front windshield was so dirty on the inside that when driving at night and oncoming headlights it was difficult to see. About 1 hour into the trip the "Maintenance Required" light came on and stayed on-- not sure what the problem was since we could not find a car manual anywhere in the vehicle. Luckily we made it back without any problem. I think Enterprise has a ways to go to match the service we received from Avis.
I called and was told by Ken that I would have a technician out between 11 and 2. A few minutes later I received a message on my phone stating that they do not repair microwaves and that my appointment had been cancelled. I called back to confirm that my credit card was not going to be charged ( this company requires a cc to hold the appointment). Talked with another rep. and she told me that they do work on microwaves, but if they do not have anyone in the area who knows what they are doing, then they don't have a microwave tech available for this area. I may try to use this company again for another appliance, just because everyone was polite. But, I just wish they'd had their act together when I called, I was so excited about the same day service I thought I was going to receive : (
Our refrigerator is working again! Sloan arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem (and he didn't get annoyed by me watching him work, and asking questions -- I like to learn new things). He had to order a part, but was able to get us back up and running temporarily until the new part arrived. He then came back 3 days later -- again, promptly at our appointed time -- to install the part. He's the owner of the company, so he cares about the customer service. As a small business owner myself, I understand the value of good reviews. So if you have an issue with your appliances, call Sloan. Then write a review yourself.
I called A1 one day and the next morning they were here looking at my microwave. One of the brothers pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone. A fuse blew from steam from boiling water/cooking potatoes damaging the upper electronics. Unfortunately, the fuse blew AND the magnetron, so it's dead. All because I didn't know after 15-20 of water boiling the steam can damage the upper electronics. I now know let it rest after 7-10 min for the steam to dissipate before I continue. If I hire them to install my new micro, they'll deduct the service call fee from the install rate. I'd highly recommend them.
Today I had Sloan Appliance out to fix my refrigerator that wasn't cooling. He got out here in the time frame I was told and was courteous enough to give me a heads up that he was on his way (told him I had dogs to put up). Within a matter of minutes he was able to diagnose that I had a bad defrost system. Not only did he have the part in stock, he defrosted all the built up ice in freezer and got all the dog hair out of my coils. Throughout the whole process he was very informative, and explained how my fridge worked. Now Im up and running, the food is cold and it was all done at a very affordable price. A+
If ever I try to rent a car I would want to deal with the Best Manager by far Darius Smith at Southside location at Nolan, Mr. Smith goes beyond his job duties. A pleasure to meet a person that exceed my expectations. When ever I have had my car in for service I would always have to rent a car for whatever reason beyond the service dept. control. Mr. Smith has attended to my personal need. He shows knowlegeable and personal touch in how your needs are met. Would recommend him to my family and friends who come to visit on occasion. Knowing he will take personal care of your needs.
I have used Chris multiple times and also sent him to my brothers for repairs.He has always been respectful and is completely trustworthy.He does a great job at a fair price and has always fixed the problem. Just like any service type business, the tech can get bogged down by unexpected problems at a job and may arrive late at the next job. More times than not,it is not the techs fault...and Chris will not compromise on his customers repairs.If you want to have someone in your home who you can trust to do the right thing,then A Plus Appliance is the one to call.
If your not an Emerald Club member, go onto their website and become one, it's free. Love that I can just get in my car and go, no lines to wait in, no paperwork to fill out. Saves you so much time. YOU choose your own car. I have used other rental agencies that have been a few dollars cheaper and I will never make that mistake again. The customer service from National is far superior to the others, their cars are cleaner, newer and just overall a better "Car Rental Experience". I have always been very pleased with the overall service of this company.
32+ yr old refrigerator quit cooling on Sunday, lyesterday. Condensor fan had quit. Since fridge is so old, I was afraid I might not find a part. Found Sloan Appliance Repair onYP and had great ratings. So this morning, Monday, called him. By 2:30pm he was installing the replacement fan motor and shortly after the fridge was up and running. Great competant and quick service. Very reasonable pricing too. Call him. You cna't go wrong. Going to tel all my neighbors abut hima as good, reasonably priced appliance repari people are hard to fine.
