Last year (2017), this pain management office began acting oddly. They stopped accepting credit or debit as payment and later required only cash. They actually sent us to an ATM to get cash before the doctor would see us. The front desk staff also began treating patients poorly and took to becoming argumentative. We noticed a very high turnover rate with office and medical assistants. Fast forward to 2018 and the office has moved, at least one doctor has dropped out of the practice and things have gotten worse. When we finally found the new location -- we received no notice they had moved and went to the old location for an appointment -- we were horrified to find that the waiting room was the size of a small bedroom and was absolutely packed with people. The staff is still incompetent in that they do not return calls and forget to enter appointments. Often, they do not notate the type of appointment. When we asked to speak with an office manager, we were treated like lepers and condescension. A recent incident had us calling because a treatment was ineffective and we were leaving for vacation. Repeated calls were made to the office beginning six days prior to our departure. Messages were left, but there was no response. When we went to the office the day before our departure, the doctor refused to see us, because he was at lunch -- so much for the Hippocratic oath. When we finally got an answer, we were told that the new laws prohibited the doctor from prescribing any other medication -- a fact I find dubious because I looked up the statutes. The shame of all this is that several years ago, when we began using this office, they were efficient and helpful. They were genuinely interested in alleviating patient pain. Now it seems the office is interested only in getting as many patients as possible through the door -- customer service, thoughtful attention, and bedside manner have been jettisoned. We cannot, and will not, recommend this office ever again.

I found this institution to be very unprofessional. For me, I gave them three strikes and now have left them and will not return. The first error on their part was to insist that I needed a medical procedure (nerve block shots) that I did not want but that they insisted would not cost me a penny. It ended up costing me over $600. I disputed the bill but eventually they sent it to collection and I lost. The second error was in their total disrespect for maintaining any need to meet the appointment times in a timely manner. Three times the appointment was delayed by over an hour and a half. They were non responsive when I inquired as to why they could not keep appointment times. The third and final error on their part was to schedule me for an eleven o'clock appointment. I showed up fifteen minutes early. About a half hour later, they told me that I had no appointment and that there was no way that they were going to see me. VERY unprofessional and they treat people horribly.
Dr Golden is very knowledgeable in the most up to date methods for treating chronic pain. She is involved in ongoing research in her field and is highly recommended!
Dr Golden is very knowledgeable in the in both naturopathic and traditional treatment. She treats the root cause of your pain as well as the symptoms. She also has a neuromuscular massage therapist on staff who is great.
I am a 51 year old woman with several health problems, including disc degen disease and a tumor on my right neck/shoulder area. I was treated rudely by Tina who is their new appointment person. I left a message and was waiting a call back and finally called their office and she treated me like I was a piece of poop and very rude. If this was the last place on the face of the earth I would not go. She had no manners, no customer service skills as I don't know what their office needs unless they called to tell me and they didn't I would still be sitting in the dark if I had not of called. These kinds of people do not need to be in business.
