VERY VERY PISSED. I really think you should not even get any stars for the horrible service I received. Metro Towing was the worst service I have every had. My car broke down around 2:20 today and I called my insurance company to get a tow. 3 hours later after Jax Express Towing came to tow me Someone called me from Metro Towing said that they were on their way. Seriously I have waited for little over 3 hours you are now just calling me to tell me you were on your way. I was only 11 minutes away from my house. It would have been nice to get a phone call to give me an update that they are behind. It called common courtesy to telling your customer what your ETA is. There is no reason I should have waited little over 3 hours for a tow. I will NEVER NEVER use you guys again. I will also let everyone I know as well as anyone I come in contact with to NEVER use Metro Towing.

My insurance company contracted Metro towing to tow my vehicle after I broke down yesterday. The original estimate for pickup was 55 minutes. If that had been close to accurate it wouldn't have been so bad. After an hour and a half I called Metro towing to check on the status of my call. The dispatcher said the driver ran into traffic and it would be another 40 minutes. An hour later I called again and was given an estimate of a half hour. An hour later I contacted my insurance company and they started calling the dispatcher also. We were both told the driver was just a short distance away and it would be another five minutes. 10 minutes later when the driver still hadn't shown up. Approximately 4 hours after the initial call, and 3 hours after the initial arrival estimate the tow truck finally showed up. He was courteous, apologetic and set about doing his job as quickly as he could. At no time did the dispatcher apologize or even sound sympathetic. I can understand being busy but I should have been given a realistic pickup estimate. I discussed my issues with my insurance company and they told me they will be reviewing this failed service call and their contract with Metro Towing. I hope to never need towing again but if I do I will not use Metro Towing under any circumstances.
I called many other towing companies and he was the best price. He was nice- which is another thing I look for when I do business with someone.
Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had! My insurance company called Metro Towing for me at 1:30 pm. I was told it was going to be an hour. An hour later, they told my insurance company that due to an accident and weather, it was going to be another hour. So I waited another hour and called Metro Towing directly. The woman that answered the phone was extremely rude and told me it would be "at least" another hour because my service provider broke his foot. So I asked since I was waiting for two hours if I could be moved up the list and she told me that's not the way it works. I told her it was ridiculous and she said, "That's life."Needless to say, I called my insurance company back and told them to cancel the service and get a new one. The second service, Auto Store Towing, was fantastic. They showed up within the hour of the call (5:00 pm) and got my car to the service shop by 5:30 pm. As I was on my way to pick up my car at 6:30, I finally received a call from Metro Towing that they would be at my house in 10 minutes. Thank you FIVE HOURS LATER... Whatever you do, do NOT use Metro Towing.
This company doesn’t even deserve the one star I have to give them! I’ve been waiting for almost 3 hours for them to come tow my truck. My insurance provider selected them and I got an email saying that they would be here within 45 minutes. After an hour I called and the person in the phone said the truck would call us. No call. An hour later, I called back and the guy on the phone said the same thing. Again no call. Another 1/2 hour later I called my insurance company; *they* called and were told the truck was finishing up another job and would be here in another 45 minutes. And they couldn’t tell us that the two times WE called? Completely unacceptable.
Not pleased at all. My roadside assistance (USAA) dispatched them. I called them, at the request of the cops, to see how long it would be. The dispatcher, in an extreamly rude tone, said they would get there whenever they could and hung up on me. After waiting 30 minutes past their ETA they gave USAA, I called again and they kept picking up the phone and hanging it up. I had a different company dispatched. Metro deffinatly was unable to serve in time of need. Sad. They don't deserve the star I had to give to write this.
