VCA Briarcliff Animal Hospital

The previous review is unbelievable. I think this person may be confused and be reviewing another animal hospital. I've been going to Briarcliff for 3 years. I have always had a positive experience. They literally treat me like family. The staff is wonderful! Based on customer service these days, it's extremely noticeable how they are the upper crust. They are always friendly and helpful. It's always clean. I've never seen it dirty at all. There is always a pleasant smell, which has always been a very pleasant surprise. If you're the type who wants vet care for your animals that is progressive, this is the place. They are a little more expensive, overall, but that's based on the things I elect to do because they recommend things that will keep Ginger healthy. You won't be sorry if you use this vet.

These people are amazing. They always recommend everying that my pet needs to stay healthy. It's very important to do the testing to catch things before they happen. I have checked prices at other places and the costs for the exact same thing are about the same. I would trust these people with any of my pets. The staff is awesome! The customer service there blows most businesses out of the water.

Please, do not waste you money or risk your pets health here! I will say that the doctor seemed nice enough and competent (Dr Dee) but she has to work with the bumbling technicians and assistants. I brought my puppy here for shots and heartworm prevention and was given the wrong medication. If I would not have noticed who knows what might have happened. Their exam rooms are dirty with pet hair and stains. I decided to give them one more try and had my baby neutered here, The tech I first spoke with checked him in and said I could pick him up same day. When I called to do so they would not release him. It was like he was held hostage. When I finally did pick him up both front legs were shaved and bloody from placing the I.V. line. His belly and boy parts were also bloody and had terrible razor burn. They had to send him with antibiotics to prevent infection from the dammage they had done. To top it off the had lost the tshirt he sleeps with and dared to question whether I had even brought it in because the first tech did not write it in his chart. For being the most expensive vet in town they should provide at least reasonable care!
