Best doggie hotel ever. My gi...

Best doggie hotel ever. My girls are thrilled to meet and play with their friends and the staff. The resort is always clean and the staff is amazing. I know my babies will recieve the best of care. In the past I have used another Kennel with extreme dissappointment. This is not the case with Pet Paradise. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS FACILTIY. You and your family member will be pleased.

Great place but can be pricy

I have two labador retrievers, both have stayed here multiple times with no issues what so ever. In fact, they get so excited they almost tear the car apart on the way. The advice I can give is two fold, and this is true for any boarding facility. Make sure your dogs flea and heart worm is up to date, more dogs in one place means more pests. And second, know you dog. If your dog cannot to the dog park, probably not the best place for them, since they will be in direct contact with A LOT of other animals who will bark, and cary on. We always get a bath, and they always come home worn out and smelling great! Only complaint is, it isn't cheap, but nobody is, and we all spend on out pets!

Nasty, unwashed bedding.

Nasty bedding. Upon arriving with my dog, he was taken from me and walked through a door to this runs. I wanted to go back and see what the area looked like where he would sleep. I was told I could not go through door personnel only. Anyway, I had to leave immediately for the airport. When I picked up my dog four nights later, he was scared, shaking, and walking to the door fast. I gave my dog a bath to relax him and found four big ticks on bottom of tub and one dried on him with blood on my dog’s skin. I called the Pet Paradise that night and was told we do our own laundry? My dog slept on dirty bedding. In addition, the next day I shaved my dog’s hair off around his shoulders and found red bruise marks. I called the Pet Paradise and asked for the owner and got a manager who was very apologetic too because I knew my dog did not have playtime on the days they charged. This facility is unorganized and neglect our precious pets the owners expense. The only good thing about this facility is that they claim to accept only neutered pets. This facility is overpriced but has a nice look and smell in reception area. Close to, the airport but their handlers are lazy.

my dog got a skin infection here

I took my dog to the Pet Paradise on University Blvd. I chose this pet facility because it looked as though she would have a great, fun time here. The pictures of the place were very impressive. We had bordered her here for 6 days, while we went on vacation. The biggest mistake we have ever made. The day we picked her up she was so scared and looked skinner then we had dropped her off. We also noticed she had dry patches of skin where hair had been missing. We took her to our vet right as we returned home and the vet mentioned she had caught a skin infection from the facility she was staying at. We notified Pet Paradise about the situration but all they wanted was their money. The manager said "" well, that sometimes happens, some dogs are sensitive to the strong disinfectant we use"". The visit to the vet cost me $250 to find out what was wrong with her skin. Pet Paradise never offered any sort of discount. Just said sorry and that sometimes happens. So just beware of the business, just because it has a nice facility doesn't mean your pet is being taken care of. I DO NOT recommend this place AT ALL.

Exceptional Value

I got a direct mail piece from a new "pet resort" a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try. It is located by IAH and let me drop off Tara at 5:30am as I had a 7:20 flight. When I picked up Tara three days later, she did not want to go home. There were pets in the pool and other play areas. I wanted to stay there. It is worth the time to go see the place.

No Place Better!!!

There is not a better place to board your animals. Pet paradise has the best staff, and the most convienent hours. You can not find a better place that will care for your pets better than Pet Paradise Resort. The staff is top notch, very knowledgeable and caring.
