Julington Creek Animal Walk

Been coming here since 1978 when I lived in Arlington. They are compassionate and caring. Only one Doctor in the past I did not care for and she went elsewhere shortly thereafter. Never rushed and take time to explain in depth what is best for my animals. Will NEVER go anywhere else. They have earned my trust. You can trust your loved ones here also.
Brought my "friends" dog here for boarding about two years ago and when I came to pick him up, he followed the tech back to the door. Strutting like he owned the place. He is a special dog, maybe he got special care.......maybe they all do......

New to the area and even though Julington Creek Animal Hospital is only 5 minutes from home, I avoided it because of the reviews. I have a 15-year-old dog who requires frequent vet visits and I was also worried about affordability and the walk-in wait time. After spending loads of money with poor results at another local vet, I decided to give Julington Creek Clinic a go. The wait time was less than 5 minutes, the office is immaculate, and the staff were caring. The vet (Dr. Rod) was compassionate and practical -- he even gave me a written estimate for care (and it was beyon reasonable). Best of all -- my old gal's issues have been properly treated and her tail is wagging again!

NEVER, EVER, board your dog here, EVER. My dog was boarded there over the Christmas break and was completely ignored. I had used them one other time but only for one night, not seven. I realize it was Christmas but that is no excuse. When I picked up my dog he smelled so bad it made one gag. He had obviously lain in feces and been wiped off - as though I would not notice his condition. When I took him to his groomer it took them 4 hours to get him reasonably clean. The fur in his paws had to be clipped back in order to get rid of the feces that had dried on his paws. His rear end was red and raw from sitting in feces. He will have to go to the groomer again in another week so that they can finish cleaning

him. So far as I am concerned their license should be revoked - the condition of my dog bordered on abuse.

This is a great place to go! My dog always has fun and loves the staff. Wonderful big place to take your dogs to get fresh air and to burn energy! I definitely recommend this place to board, groom, and play at jcaw.

Do not go there/I think they tell the staff to tell the customer no with every question asked. Seems you cannot ever get your pet in for service if you do not have a appointment to get your dog a bath forget it no matter how early you take them.I have never found the staff to be friendly or helpful. Tell you no and get you out. I am over them they do not seem to want your business. Every-time I have taken my pet there I have been sorry. It is not that i do not understand that places get book but with this place it seems like its every time you get the feeling they are doing you a big favor if you get service. Maybe they need to move to Hollywood. Staff is generally very un helpful every answer sums up to " I cannot help you"

I have lived in Jax my entire life and have owned both dogs and cats for the last 20 years. I even had a very close friend who's family owned a vet clinic. I have taken my pets to clinics in Baymeadows, Mandarin, and the Northside. At first looking for a good deal/ but later after really understanding what it means to be a good loving pet owner I searched for everywhere for the best care. This is the ONLY place I will take my pets now. Their hospital staff is excellent and wait time is minimal, and my dog LOVES to be groomed by Shirley and her assistants! He can't wait to jump out of the car when we get here! My first dog had terrible grooming experiences with other places and became aggressive. I have only taken my new dog here and he welcomes being handled!!! I am very pleased with the service!!! (P.S. I am not one to write reviews... this was important to me to let people know!)
