TO ALL PROSPECTIVE TELEMARKETING APPLICANTS! - The owners, Todd Dansky and Ricardo Montalvo of Connect2it when it was formerly named Direct Sales Connection, Inc never paid me a dime for working 2 1/2 days, nor pay another worker who worked the same days. Todd continually refused to pay me, saying "prove that you worked for me, it will cost you more to sue" (which is right with the time involved). When I finally decided it was worth proving a point and filing a labor complaint, Ricardo told the case worker that he showed me as being on the payroll but stalled the case, his subordinate claiming he was out of the country, until the time limit for the case expired. Not to mention that I would have been a fool to work longer because of the lack of training, literally running out of prospect leads to contact one complete afternoon, forced two hour unpaid lunches because that time of day was slow for sales, waiting a minimum of 10 days to be credited for sales, and being expected to eat lunch at the company run deli which served rancid dangerously unhealthy food. With the response I now do expect to take the case to court as that time limit has not expired, costing all parties more in time than amount in question, to prove a point and stand up for basic labor rights.
