Hi, I used to be a Taxi driver, and the company I worked for required us to clean and wash our own cars. I would spend 16 to 17 hours a day working trying to earn my money and after all of the 7 days in a row, did I wanna clean my own car.
I started taking my cab to the Cassat Ave. location. They did such a good job on the basic for very little money. I had the wash my car, and clean the inside twice a week, and they ALWAYS did a very GOOD job. I even got word at the office that my car was always so clean and detailed.
I no longer drive a taxi, but I just bought a brand new car and I will be having it cleaned by the good people at Charles & George's Car Wash on Cassat Ave.

This is the second time I have used George and Charles car wash. They asked me if I wanted the works which cost a little over $35.00! That's a pretty high price, but my car was in dire need of a good spring cleaning. Two years ago I had a bad experience with them, but this was at another location so I decided to give them another try. My car was not vacuumed very good, car mats not cleaned at all, dirt and dust still around cup holder and on dash, windows streaked. What a RIP OFF for this high price! First time shame on them, second time shame on me for going back. There WILL NOT be a third time, and I will definitely spread the word where people can go for a better car cleaning job and at a cheaper price.

I frequently (2-4 times a month) use Charles & George's Car Wash because it's a quick way to have my car cleaned inside & out within 10-30 minutes depending on what service options you choose. I usually get the works which I think costs around $30-35 - not 100% sure.
With the works I also choose to have the leather conditioner added to my seats to clean and condition them, air freshener, armor-all inside and out, wherever needed, and my floors to be clean (vacuumed) along with the washing & drying, etc.
I have occasionally experienced some things being missed like wiping down something or whatever, but I have never had a problem when I pointed it out (nicely), it was completed.
It may benefit you to ask specifically for what you want done and ask about the price as soon as you arrive. I don't expect them to detail my car like a car detailer does - a car detailer can spend up to 4 hours and cost hundreds!!! So, just remember they are a speedy service provider and easy to work with. I recommend them for many people who are just unable to make the time to clean the car themselves! I don't have 3-4 hours to totally detail my car each week - but I can spare 15-30 minutes on a lunch break to have a team tackle it! Thank you so much for doing what you do - you save this mom of 3, a lot of time that I don't have to spare ----- keep up the good work!!!!! :) God Bless!

I went to have my car washed today, September 29, 2006. I asked for the works. Now, when you ask for ""The Works"", what does that usually mean? It means you want everything. They quoted my price, which was over $27. I thought that was very high, but I wanted a good job done. When they ""supposedly"" completed the job, I walked out to check it out. To my surprise (more like shock), the car mats were dirty. The car still had dirt and sand on the floor. The only good thing I can say about it is that the car smelled good. It was a lousy job. I could have done better at Duckys and washed it and cleaned out the inside myself. I requested a manager and she informed me that if I wanted to have my mats cleaned it would be almost another $3. I told her that was ridiculous, I had asked for the works and was given the price I paid, which was extremely high anyway. She refused to make it right. I will never go back to George and Charles' Carwash again. They are too high and as I watched the workers vaccum, I realized why they were doing a lousy job. They barely ran that hose along the floors before they were done. Consumers, Beware! If you want a fair and good job done on your vehicle, don't go there. I left feeling cheated. I do much better going through the $9 carwash at Duckys.
