Bob Mann Guitar, Music & Voice Lessons

My son has been taking voice lessons with Bob for the better part of four years. I also had my oldest son take guitar lessons for two years. They enjoyed the lessons had learned so much. I drive all the way from St Johns county every week and would not be traveling this far if not for the excellent service Bob offers.

I have worked with Bob on voice and guitar for almost 18 months. Bob is a great teacher, and I started seeing dramatic improvements in my voice from the first lesson, and never stopped improving. I have been singing and playing since I was 13, but this is my first time working to develope my voice. We made big improvements on all aspects of performance. As great a teacher and musician as Bob is, he never gets lost in the fact that you 'play' music, you do not 'work it.' Bob keeps the focus on having fun and sharing the joy of making music. I recommend him to everyone, of any age or ability, looking for a great teacher!

My daughter started off with Bob taking keyboard lessons. It did not take her long to gain interest in all of the other areas Bob teaches. She now studies keyboard, Ukelele, Guitar and most recently voice with Bob. I have watched her go from barely understanding the music to having the ability to break down songs and add her own flavor to them. He ignites her creativity and makes the entire experience fun for her. He adapts the lessons to whatever genre of music the student is in to, which is important in maintaining the interest and motivation to continue playing. He is extremely flexible and has very reasonable prices. I would recommend Bob to anyone interested in learning to play or sing.

I originally began taking lessons from Bob for my voice. I have been singing for a few years now… all self-taught, and I thought it was about time to get some professional teachings. Bob has certainly measured up to my expectations of a teacher, and then completely blown them out of the water and sent them sailing! I'm now taking guitar lessons from Bob on top of voice lessons, and with both voice/guitar, he excels at something that I think is the most important thing for ANY teacher; he can pick apart your play-ability/technique, decipher what your strengths/weaknesses are, and then provide you with the tools to boost your strengths and make your weaknesses a thing of the past. Bob does an INCREDIBLE job at really providing each student the attention they require for their specific needs, and not just fitting everyone into the same 'mold' by feeding them the basics of their instrument or laying out some generic plan to get you where you’d like to be. He is very knowledgeable and easy-going. Whenever I hit a slump (and yes, you will!), he analyzes my issues, suggests some exercises - which is usually accompanied by one of his many analogies to help you understand the reasoning by his 'madness' - and every time, I am astounded with the change that comes from all his tips and tricks. And more often than not, they are simple, little things that truly work wonders. He has given me the confidence to keep pursuing music no matter the obstacle, and has even inspired a new love for music with his insight into the realm of this wonderful craft. Bob Mann is a modern-day wizard in my opinion, and will provide you all the wisdom any of you King Arthurs' and Frodo Baggins' need to conquer your instrument.

Bob has really helped me with voice techniques and improving my voice. I'm very glad I've chosen him to take lessons with. He really knows his stuff and makes everything very comfortable and easy to learn from. He really focused on helping me improve and helped a ton!

Mr. Bob is a wonderful music teacher! I started taking lessons when I was 10 and have enjoyed every single session. I learned so much about the different scales on the keyboard and different pitch with my vocals and have noticed improvement with my singing. I would recommend Mr. Bob to anyone who wants to learn how to play an instrument, especially guitar or singing.

Bob helped me move my guitar technique, knowledge, playing to the next level. I'm currently working on my own; but will return to Bob for continuing study.

Yet another talent Bob Mann has voice. Bob is giving my 14 year old voice lesson's and after only two lesson's my son say's he can tell a differce in his voice and so can i.My son also took guitar lesson's with Bob for about 3years and last year at LaVilla School of the Arts he recieved the honor of excellence in classical guitar. Mr.Mann is great teacher for kid's of any age...
