AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Took our car for repairs because the engine wouldn't run right. Many parts replaced and cost me very close to $2,000 That didn't solve the problem. It's been back two more times and the first trip back, cost around $400.00. The third return the work was done for free. Second visit a vital part was replaced,,,with a reconditioned part that cost $200.00. On line I discovered the same part only new was under $200.00,,,,, Recently, in rush hour traffic, in the left turn lane of a two lane road the engine stopped running and when I tried to restart it it sounded as if the battery was dead. Some one jumped the battery after pushing the car out of traffic. A brand new battery doesn't go bad by it's self. I'm going to have to call this place to attempt to solve the problem. I had to cancel an important Doctor visit today because after my most recent problem I'm afraid to drive the car for fear of it quitting again. I don't want a repeat break-down as the towing cost $100.00 and I am 69 years old on a very low Social Security income. Between a rock and a hard place.
