This is the original Fuji Sushi, not affiliated with the others, on the other side of town. I lived in Japan and have traveled the world, this is the most fresh...did I say fresh? Sushi and sashimi, I've ever tasted. They have great service, quick fast and always smiling. The bathrooms are clean, the decor is wonderful. They grew so popular & fast they had to expand. (They also own Green Lake Chinese.) They don't take any shortcuts; the rolls are always, big and dressed up to perfection for your taste buds. And for an added treat, to tie you over until your "display of artwork" arrives, they give you a complimentary sample, Chef's choice!
WOW-this place was AMAZING! Went on a Wednesday night and there were only 2 other families there. So it wasn't crowded at all! We sat at the Hibachi table and the Chef gave us a really good show. OH and come hungry because they give you alot of food-my husband couldn't even put a dent in his food! The service was great and like I said the Chef was just awesome...he was very friendly and very good at what he was doing. The BEST steak in town! Better than any steak house I have ever been to. Its a GOTTA 'check it out' place!!!!!
I was part of a party of ten who dined at Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse last night. We all found the food and service to be very good. The sushi was excellent! Yes, they were very busy and I thought the staff were doing the best they could. The only complaint would be that the teppanyaki table clean-up person should wait until the party has left the table before they clean it. Pouring cold water on the hot teppanyaki table produces lots of hot steam which makes sitting at the table while eating your dinner uncomfortable.
I recently tried Fuji Sushi, and experienced the most friendly and attentitive service. My food was as ordered, tasted wonderful and was more than I expected. The price range is also very reasonable. The atmosphere from the outside is really misleading (don't let it fool you!!). It's well decorated, and the ambiance is something I can't wait to experience again. I highly recommend that if you haven't tried this sushi place, that you do. I know that I'll be going back!!
Oh My God!!i love this restaurant i been so many sushi restaurants mizu is the BEST! why its the best cause they had quality live music performing for the patrons. The service was super and matched only by the super quality and taste of the food. Reasonable priced too. Only one problem...your guitarist/vocalist could not remember how to sing and play "hang Down Your Head Tom Dooley", ha, ha. But he was so great, I forgive him. I will certainly come back.:D
Konichiwa fellow Gaijin! Formally Wasabi. The sushi was excellent until the new owners took over. The new Itamae is chinese and uses inferior ingredients. The wasabi is very peppery with little or no real wasabi. The Nigiri is all rice and very thin slices of fish. Sashimi is poor quality. No Ikura, stingy with Tobiko and salmon. They do make a fair Philadelphia roll, but that is not a traditional sushi. Gochiso-sama, Sabinuki.
The food is always great here and normally the service is too. Tonight...don't know what happened. Walked up employee sitting outside, no greeting, ordered food....waited 47 min. Employee came in tended to clients, bright out food, never saw her go to wash hands. Asked fir silverware for my tea, it was warm by the time I got it. Waitress not attentive, silverware was dirty. I'll go back...:-(
This is a regular spot for us to meet friends and enjoy sushi. The decor is beautiful - very exotic (and not tacky like some asian places). The service is impeccible! And the sushi is always fresh with a wide variety of choices. Something for everyone! Daruma can also accommodate large groups and meetings. Check it out next time you are in the area - it is a pleasant surprise!
i like the food alot but the service was eh... the room was leaking and i was constantly being dripped on. when the waiter finally realized i was flagging him down he was like just move and didn't care to handle the issue more politely or even notify a manager. maybe on a night that they are dead you can get good service.
i recently went to fuji sushi to eat and i was blown away. As soon as i walked it it was beautiful with an elegant theme to it ( outside doesnt look all that great), but the food was wonderful the workers were nice and the food was well prepared. im sure that ill return soon.
