My husband and I stayed here with our labrador while we were looking for a home. The staff is extremely attentive and I cannot say enough good things about the owner, Bob. We stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bath. This is a great value for the price, not to mention that they did not charge extra for our pet. Wendy, the apartment manager, decorates each apartment differently and they are done beautifully. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of space we had. There were a couple of things that needed to be fixed, but they were taking care of within the hour after asking. Thank you to Bob, Wendy, Andrea, and the rest of the staff for making us feel at home while we were in transition. They have truly created a positive atmosphere/community within the Courtyard.
Been here 3 years. I would not recommend this place to anyone until the property management Artcraft Management in Virginia fixes issues that are important, since they took over in Sept everything has changed. We do not have the same quality of life. The women that use to work here quit. Then the two that came on in Sept just quit. Then we have some now don't answer the phones. Care nothing about my privacy rights being broken my one of the maintenance man. Had fecal matter and urine bubbling up in both of my bathrooms tubs. My online request were ignored for 7 hours it took Jaxs Action News and JEA to come out before the two maintenance guys that live here to get s plumber to fix this nasty biohazard problem two neighbors don't even and have not been told how to call or get maintence. Maintenance who shared my name with another person who harrassed me in Facebook is the one who as well told me i was not making maintenance request right. I know how to request and have proof it was recieved by login to my resident portal. We pay 1170 a month it would not matter if we paid 400 a month. We have rights to privacy if our personal information. Civil rights with housing and urban development says so.We as residents have to rights to receive service when a biohazard issue is in your apartment or any emergency per Tenant rights.. We've paid our rent on time since February 2015. Regional Manager called me a liar,over a issue she personally gave,,us a month to month agreement which I saved the email from her. told me i did know what I was talking about. My son took her the email she apogies.. I feel like I been personally violated by her over and over. Artcraft Management in Virginia cares nothing about thier employees who violated Housing laws. Until this place cleans house, respects thier tenants,don't move here. Oh the owner yes owner is good friends with property management so he does not care either..Prior Navy Spouse going to base housing to show the pictures which is in Jaxs Action News, As well they have a contract with Tulsa Welding. Everyone deserve a place to live were it give a what it says.Not a Gated Community gates are not closed have not been since Sept 2016 when they took over, gym equipment old hard to use.pools used by people from everywhere Management has done nothing..if thier employees lie and do things against residents they should be fired this to include Regional she's on the board with the owner good for her.. I have a clean apartment this was my home not anymore they took that away..i have great neighbours I'm blessed with this.. look up crime in this area..we had a shooting well a guy off loaded a 9 mm in the parking lot on July 3rd. Thankfully know one killed. But the people envoled still live here other communities would have terminated them. We have people not in the leases living here.. Our trash every week piles up old furniture dropped off like we are a collection site. this place was built 1971 we have cast iron pipes .This place let's anyone work in them theu cut off our water leave it off for hours cut it in and they don't flush the pipes.health dept and JEA,pipes not being flushed as well being espouse for a couple of days like my building leaves contaiments in our water. I have a water sample my ice had dirt or something red in it. It's okay to be in a old place but fix the issues not cause more. I would not recommend this place to anyone until the owner cares he says he does well respect your Tenants, hire employees that do not break Federal laws . Oh the same person talks about other residents as well previous employees. The previous employees the previous maintenance supervisor where awesome. Still around Jaxs. I'm not mad I'm discussed with what has happen I don't feel comfortable in my own home. raffic coming in off Monument is heavy since the gates closed .We are moving soon my son bought a home out we've been here three years.. the pictures Jaxs Action News I don't lie
All seemed fine at 1st. At closing table had an amendment added to our contract that the repairs would start on June 20th which the roof issue didn't get started until the 24th we signed on June 20th. Well carpet got removed but not padding, roof issue got fixed on outside just painted over instead of repair on inside. Ac unit still is not fixed they got some incompetent company to finally come out replaced fan motor, not blowing right. Had to repeatedly go to office same incompetent company came out only put Freon in it, according to neighbor who watched from his porch. With that said it blew cold for 6 days 4 of those days we were moving in . Our 1st two nights it worked fine. Freezing up again has been now for 2 days and let office know still nothing. Fixing the a.c. unit was part of an amendment to our contract...here it is almost 2 months after signing and still can't get them to fix. BUT they are quick to post lot rent and water bill and we haven't been in our home not even a week because of a.c. unit not being fixed. Also couldn't get carpet layers in to lay carpet NO ONE will do it without a.c.. so our son and daughter did it for us. Except for the breach of contract , it is quite out here.
A sudden and poor choice in change of management, slum lording ownership, and poor quality of the deteriorating mobile homes that they barely attempt to refurbish, makes a stint at Creek Side less than desirable. I suggest moving along to the next option.
Sheila is rude, mean, yells or has a "looks could kill" look on her face if you try and talk to her. She's ONLY nice when trying to get you to rent. The mailboxes don't work, Sheila will get your mail. Advice: get a po box! Federal law states if a landlord receives your mail, they must give it to you when you ask. She'll hold your mail m-f at 4pm, but not after 5pm which is illegal. Even if she's in the office, she won't give it. She'll throw out your mail or send it back if she doesn't like you. We no this after talking to people who mailed us packages and letters from government agencies. We have already reported her to several government agencies including the United States Postal Service. Her Boyfriend , JT abuses and harasses disabled and sells weed. He asked us day one if we wanted to buy weed. We don't do drugs so...um no! They have mice!!!! We caught about 4-5 a DAY! They spray for roaches, but only give you sticky traps to catch mice. She puts disabled with seizures, lung problems, or no mobility on the 4th floor! The elevators go down all the time and the Metal stairwell is rusty and moves if you walk on it. Ceilings leak and Sheila turns off EVERYONE'S water at LEAST 3 times a week. If you turn them in or complain, you are harassed relentlessly by Sheila or her abusive boyfriend named JT who has been kicked of the property once already for choking her out. If you need help, call the owner Robbie at (408) 644-7111 AND the city! We left for safety reasons!
Great promotions going on right now for new home buyers! $100 of lot rent per month for 6 months. Also $50 application fees are waived right now. Good staff!
I would NOT recommend this park to anyone looking to buy or rent, they increase the lot rent every June, the staff is very unprofessional , not to mention that they change staff multiple times so if you have a problem you will have to start from square one. The crime is bad, peoples homes getting broken into all the time, also there has been a murder in late 2015 or early 2016, stray cats everywhere, management does nothing over the feces everywhere, not a place to raise children. Overall this park is in bad shape.
The worst property management experience I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Horrible management staff. Very lazy. Very nosey. Constant threats about going into your apartment without your permission. Roaches galore. Loud neighbors. Drug dealers through out the property. Office insists on you calling them not the police. They move anyone into the property and the gated community feature is a joke. People sit at the front of the complex and just let who ever in. Maintenance gets done within three weeks if that. Went the entire summer without A/C. I wouldn't recommend this property to the future roaches that want to inhabit here, it's not even suitable for them.
Affordable, yes. But do your self a favor and pay a little extra to feel safe at home. They delete work orders before performing any maintenance. I put in 4 work requests for my a.c. unit leaking and soaking my carpet. They never even looked at it even after I submitted photos. The tiles in my shower literally fell off the wall while I was in the bath tub, revealing rotted dry wall. Once again, I submitted photos and several work requests. Nothing. In the 4 months I lived there, there were 2 shootings within 100 yards of my front door. And I woke up one day to a fire in the building across the parking lot. Half of which is still vancant and awaiting maintenance. The trash dumpsters are always over flowing and surrounded by trash. There is constantly trash in the grass around the grounds. One buildings patios literally have holes under them that an adult human could fit in there. No pest control whatsoever. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Btw, the leasing company is not BBB accredited.
I have lived here now since Sept 2016. I moved to florida from out of state, the Rent is out rageous (I can rent a home for less) only one way in and one way out. I have not received a water bill since I have lived here. March 2017 I finally got a notice on my door that we can log in to see our bills? and im being charged $173.00 ????? for????? I have never paid my rent late, and when previously asked about said water bills I was told by office to guess and pay over the amount of rent, but wouldn't tell me how much that is.... I have multiple issues, some have been addressed... the others not so much.... my electrical outlets are not the right size, so makes it impossible to plug most things in with out it falling out of the socket, I have asked for new plates, and even advised my husband would replace them. tap tap tap tap... still waiting.. My bathroom wall in the shower / tub area was replaced due to mold and tiles falling out, office was told by the man that replaced my wall that the tub also, (which is sunk in and doesn't drain, and rusted) to be replaced, and nothing. and the flees? don't get me started... I will not be renewing my lease here, it is so not worth the money.
