A totally positive experience. Great selection of quality tile backed by excellent service. Brooke is exceptional. They are the type of people you just want to drop in on occasionally simply to say “hi”.
I've never written a review for anyone before; I felt compelled to write one for Jimmy the Tile Guy. He just finished tiling my entire house. He makes tiling look like an artform. He's meticulous, honest, puctual, and his price was good! If I have any future projects, I will be using him again!
I recommend Jimmy the Tile Guy to anyone, he did a great job, he was friendly and professional. Beautiful work. Highly recommended A+ Tile guy.
Jimmy remodeled two showers and tiled our kitchen backsplash. He did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price! He is very skilled and easy to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
We hired this business in late May 2017 to do a small, 750 square foot floor tile job. The contract price was approximately $2600, with one third to be paid up front before the job started and the balance to be paid upon completion of the job, which was expected to take 3 days. On the second day of the job, with about one quarter of the tile down, the owner of the business, Jimmy Withers, demanded via a cell phone call, another one third payment, supposedly to buy more tile mortar. My wife told him she would come to the jobsite to discuss his request, but before she got there, he packed up all his tools and walked off the job. He then refused to speak with us over the phone or respond to our emails requesting an explanation. I recommend that you avoid this guy like the plague.
We ordered Chicago brick tile from this store. They do have a very nice selection of tile to offer in their store. You must go to their warehouse for pick up, they do not offer delivery. The worst part of this purchase was that we were NOT told that we could not return any extra tile, and nowhere on our receipt did it indicate our purchase was a special order. When we attempted to return the four extra boxes of tile we were denied. I would think with a purchase of $2500 they would be more than happy to accommodate this request (as many other tile stores do). We were also sold 4 shelves, told they were in stock, but they were not, which caused some additional delays. With many tile stores in the area, we will certainly select one that finds more value in their customers as we retile the rest of our home.
The last jackals that put a reviewIs a liar. His top is still sitting at my shop ready to install and has been ready since mid January
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!! David Mills took my money in December and I never got the work completed. He completely disappeared and scammed me. He took a deposit for the job and never even bothered calling me back. After numerous emails texts and phone calls he still has not returned one call. He sent me three emails in the last two months saying he has family problems, and then he will get back with me. Whatever you do do not shop here he is a scam artist and a thief !!! (I selected one star only because it made me select that he's not even worth one star !!!!!)
Yes, I found there the best price for a granite countertop, and they can send you to many granite wholesalers, I ordered mine very beautiful stone Bahama Cream from Avigna granite . However, keep in mind that Stone Grafters mostly works for builders, not for individual customers. So, don't expect every email and call to be answered, and any job to be done except only granite installation itself. Fortunately, I had skills to repair walls, to paint and re- install trim, and my husband installed a new faucet, old garbage disposal and re-arranged pipes (it was necessary because the new sink provided for free by Stone Grafters was deeper than my old one). For the plumbing job a plumbing company Roto-Rooter wanted to charge me $870, than agreed on $450, but my husband decided to do it himself, or much savings from a good countertop price would disappear. Ask them to drill the hole for a faucet on a site, not in a store, mine had to be repaired and re-drilled because the original one was so close to a wall, that it was impossible to operate a faucet.I gave only 3 stars because the wrong whole placement was a big mistake, and it took almost 3 months for me to get my countertops.
Unprofessional, dishonest, and not very skilled. I am now out several hundred dollars in material and labor due to Robert Martin's incompetence and lack of skill. Not only were there hollow floor tiles, but since he did not know how to correctly lay a 1/3 offset pattern for 12x24 floor tile, the whole floor needs to be ripped out and redone. I have also experienced missing and wasted material that I paid for. He did not show up to work on the project for the past 2 days. No longer return my calls or texts. Very UNHAPPY! DO NOT HIRE!
