We rented a property from her property management company, we broke a window and were 100% ok with deducting the amount from our deposit. The rest of the property we walked through and checked out, the garage was old and a gate had fallen apart because it was old and rotted, we acknowledged this was not due to our neglect and after the walkthrough of the property we got the remainder of our deposit amount back. Fast forward 2 months and she is coming back to us and placing the blame for the old garage and rotted fence on us. She claims to have integrity, knows that she checked off that these issues were not on us and now is going back on her word. From a tenant perspective I would certainly not do business with nefla, her contract is vague and unrealistic. This wasn’t the first issue we had with her company but I’m hoping it will be the last.
