Dream Center of Jackson

I could not believe the condition of this facility! The staff were so unprofessional that it shocked me. The children were in an unsafe environment. My first impressions. I asked a resident how she liked it, she explained how she had to show her conviction by sleeping outside the shelter for several days before they would consider letting her in! I was shocked. But I didn't leave yet but as I was filling out the application I noticed several irregular uses of binding terms of the houses use of all guests income. I thought it all rather fishey and since I have been sleeping in my car I certainly didnt want to get into worse trouble than I already was. When the representative from the Dream Center Arrived for my appointment two hours late she was rude to me and my mother who had taken the day to drive me there from Memphis. Now we had heard this was a good Christian org. But the lady ripped my application up and threw it in my face then called me rude! Wow! I would not suggest this place the any struggling young woman! There are real Christian organizations out there! Keep looking!
