I did not buy my Scion here- but I have had it repaired ... and they have fast and friendly service!
For sales and service, you can't beat them. My daughter and I bought a Chrysler 200 from them. Well down the line warranty had to be done on it. My daughter lives in Clarksville, so she took the car there to that Chrysler dealership who refused to do the work because we didn't buy from them. My daughter and I switched our cars and Alan Vines did the work with no problems since. I buy ALL my cars from them. No one else will do.
Alan Vines was great! I drove just over 5 hours to see my Durango. I spoke several times with Karen. She even sent me a 360° video of the vehicle. She assured me that the vehicle was in outstanding shape...even looked at it herself...she is not a salesman but the internet corrdinator. She stayed in contact with me throughout my drive and waited till I arrived at the dealership even though it was 7:30pm. I was then greated by Adam! I am exceedingly happy with my Durango...the 5 hour drive was worth it! The only reason for the 4/5 stars was the fact that they didnt want to barter...i bought a 2013 elantra as well and I thought they would discount a little better. However, they did deliver the Elantra to Illinois without a guaranteed sale (i wrote the check on delivery) and gave me a fair amount for my trade in. The sales staff was amazing and friendly...not pushy and i felt they were very honest. The gentlemen that delivered the Elantra were lovely...they sat and visited while my daughter and i drove the car.
I really needed a car and was in a tough jam. I didn't have enough money to buy one and didn't think my credit was good enough to finance a car. I told my salesman Mike about my problem and instead of turning me away, like some of the bigger car lots, he took the time to show me several cars and then helped me get it financed at a payment I could afford! The guy that did all of my paperwork, I think his name was Ken, even showed me what was hurting my credit score and gave me some advice on how to rebuild my credit. The people at American Motors have my business for life!
My husband and I had been looking for a Jeep Wrangler to enjoy on the weekends and take to our lake house. We started our search online and quickly found that the best selection of used Jeep Wranglers in Jackson TN was at American Motors. We were a little shocked at how expensive some of the Wranglers were, but decided to go look anyways. When we got there Garret met us on the lot and walked us around their selection of Jeeps. He was real knowledgeable about the different year models and equipment. We finally found a 2007 Jeep with 60k miles that we liked and went inside to try to work a deal. The manager Mark was quick to meet us and listened to everything we had to say. When it came to negotiating he was tough, but was able to explain how they priced their cars and even compared the Jeep that we were looking at on their lot with others that we looked at in the area. The real impressive part was the amazing interest rate they worked to get us. Great company with an awesome sales staff! Thank you Garret and Mark!
scam artist sold a 2006 grand caravan with a bad transmission and bad computer then resold my trade in knowing what was wrong with it to someone else not disclosing transmission issues.
Love these guys!! There sales team is very helpful and not pushy like most car dealers; and their service team is thorough, honest, and are willing to go above and beyond without being asked!!
They will happily sell you a car at a "great deal," but THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR USED CARS!! We bought a used Hyundai from them that we test drove twice, never catching anything wrong with it, so we bought it. LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER, whenever we turn the blinker on, the head/dash lights flashed obnoxiously! I took it straight to Alan Vines Hyundai (because I totally distrusted Gwatney at this point). Alan Vines found the electrical problem, and, in addition, found the ENTIRE bottom half of the engine compartment was SATURATED in oil!! This was going to cost us ~$1000 to fix both problems! I went to Gwatney to see if they would be willing to pay for it. He gave me $200 for the electrical problem but refused to pay for the oil leak that had CLEARLY been going on for months!! Gwatney stated their service techs never saw it, so it "wasn't there" and quickly slammed Alan Vines for trying to rip me off. I went back to Alan Vines and they let me take pictures, proving how bad the oil leak was. After showing pictures to Gwatney, he agreed it had to have been leaking for a while, but still said the same thing "our service techs didn't see it, so it 'wasn't there.'" My recommendation is to NOT do business with Gwatney EVER, but if you do, and least have your used car inspected by a neutral 3rd party BEFORE YOU BUY! And check out Alan Vines: those guys are awesome and HONEST!!
After our old car was totaled just about a week before Christmas we were worried that we would have no way to get around over the holiday. Luckily our insurance company was able to settle the claim quickly and the staff at Alan Vines was able to find us the perfect new Jeep Cherokee and with the money from the insurance company our payment are super low. Now not only are we set for the holidays but we are set for winter and any other season as well. Thanks to everyone who made this happen so smooth and quickly you have made our family very happy!
