They have always been very good with our kitties,they treat them like they’re own pets!!! Thankyou so much,when your in distress it’s very good to have caring people taking care of your pet!!!!

Dont go here Mr Gaide sold his business to a corporation they have no compassion and do not care about you or your animal. We took our cat in for surgery Mr Gaide is the one that waited on us, this was a 800 surgery, three days later we went to pick her up Mr. Gaide no longer there and the corporation will not take payments so our cat is still there. not only was it now 1200 they didnt tell us why the increase but the Vet Kolz just laughed at us and told us things have changed and they are now owner by a corporation so you will not get your cat until you pay in full.

We've been taking our pets to Dr. Gaide for more than 30 years and have never encountered a problem with either the service or treatments. They're caring, sympathetic and very professional. I would be hard-pressed to take an animal I love like a family member anywhere else.

The visit for my dog was great. He got taken care of. However the customer service was horrible! The ladies that check you in were rude and unprofessional. I am a client and should be treated with a little professionalism.

Thank you for all the times I have had to visit, and you made me feel so much better. It was usually due to my eating anything I spied that was not good for me to eat. There is a long list of things that are harmful to canines that people should be aware of. Anyway, thank you for your exceptional care. LOLA

Best place to take your pet! I see the complaints and this is the truth right here: You pay a little more but you pay for the experience and technology they have for a local vet. Closest thing to going to Michigan State. Maybe some people have a bad experience and ya they aren't cheap but i tried save money on vet bills and wasted over $400 going to two other vets that couldnt figure out what was wrong with a very sick puppy that had Addison's and was going into liver failure. No one else did or could do any tests and told me to take him to MSU. These guys are MSU vets and can do more for your pet locally than any other. So i wasted money trying to save money and ended up back there and will never go anywhere else. 99,9% of the time the staff is pleasant and happy to serve you. You can tell they all LOVE animals and their jobs. Even when they are busy they do not take it out on the customers. You have a variety of specialties to cover everything. They are genuinely NICE people that love what they are doing. If you just need standard vet care you can go elsewhere and save money. But you if you need expertise for a sick dog you are better off here. And i work in the medical field and so i know what i see. They are worth what they charge. Yes, I think they should come down a bit on prices and they make enough to do it but they have also given me breaks on my bills. When your bill is getting up there, they tend to knock some things down and save you money. I have had several critical situations with my pets and they saved them or diagnosed them when others did not.

Dale Gaide and his staff put my dog back together again. At 9 years old, she ruptured her cranial cruciate ligament in her knee and after surgery and rehabi, she is better than new. The care and concern i got throughout the rehab process (visits all free after the surgery) was second to none. Even though I drive 2 hours each way to get there, i wouldn't consider going anywhere else for any major concerns with my pets.

If your looking for good treatment....go somewhere else

Don't go here. Terrible business practices!! Tell you one price then double it and hold your pet hostage unless you cough up the $$$!

Do NOT go here!! They will give you one price to get you into the clinic, even tell you a price as you leave your dog for services... But when you go to pick up your dog suddenly your bill is twice what they told you and your only option is to pay TWICE what you were told or not get your pet back until you cough up the cash!! Terrible business practices.

Everyone in the office knows our kids treats us with respect and care, the doctors are great, giving you the information needed for the best treatment possible.

Gaide Veterinary Hospital is a great place to take your animal whether it be for an emergency or just to have a regular exam. We have a cat, and he got out of the house and when he came back he had a severe wound on his lower back. We had taken him in as a stray so we really didn't have any history on him, (such as vaccination records). They still treated him just like they would any other animal. Their prices are reasonable, and they have flexible hours....They will definetly be my permanent vet for all my animals!!!!
