Primary Care
Yes, we understand that illness in children often occurs suddenly and needs prompt attention. We reserve time throughout our day for same day sick visits. Whenever possible, we try to book your sick appointment with your primary care physician or midlevel that you see for well exams. There may be times when it is necessary for you to see another provider in order to best accommodate your needs.
Family Practice
Dr. Conner graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Psychology and Chemistry. She obtained her Master’s degree and Doctorate of Psychology at the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Northern Virginia. Dr. Conner completed an internship at the University of Rochester Medical Center including a rotation at Highland Family Medicine. Her Postdoctoral Residency was completed at Cornell University specializing in integrated care as a Behavioral Health Consultant within their primary care clinic on campus. Dr. Conner has experiences working with people across the lifespan in primary care, hospital, community mental health, private practice, and forensic settings. Her areas of clinical interest include sleep, behavior changes, stress management, and transgender and gender diverse health. Dr. Conner is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of New York. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading and hiking with her wife and kiddo.
Emergency Care
While we make every effort to ensure that most of your child’s visits will be with his PCP or PNP/PA, there will be times–particularly for urgent care visits–when your regular doctor is not in the office or is unavailable when you need an appointment.
Infectious Diseases
Pediatricians are specially educated and trained in diagnosing and treating illnesses in infants, children and adolescents. We have a great deal of specialization in infectious diseases specifically in children. Isn’t it best to have the experts diagnose and treat such an illness so that the child — and the community — have the best chance of fighting it? Pediatricians are not just about shots and growth charts either. We are concerned with your child’s entire spectrum of evelopment — physical, mental, social and emotional.
Immunizations
If you are interested in a pre-travel consultation, please be sure to schedule the visit at least 3 to 4 weeks prior to departure, in order to allow adequate time for pre-travel immunizations and a thorough evaluation of any medical conditions (for example, asthma, allergies or orthopedic problems) that may create additional risks while traveling.

Autism
Annemarie is a licensed clinical social worker. She received her Master in Social Work from the University of Denver. Annemarie began her career working as a social worker in pediatrics at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She worked as a clinical social worker in the children’s hospitals of the University of Arizona and Stanford University in California before settling in Ithaca to raise a family. Annemarie has worked for many years in early childhood services at Racker providing counseling services to children and families. Annemarie serves on the advisory group for the Binghamton Regional Autism Center and has a clinical interest in autism spectrum disorders and early childhood mental health. She enjoys spending time with her family, participating in outdoor sports, and has a new passion for photography.

Maria graduated from Sacred Heart University with her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She completed internships at FCW Magnet High School and Watermark Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Connecticut. She received her Master in Social Work from New York University. While she was at NYU, she worked as an intern at TEP Elementary Charter School in Washington Heights. Maria has experience working as a Clinical Social Worker providing counseling services for various ages ranging from early childhood to geriatrics. She also has experience as an early childhood educator working as a Pre-K Teacher before her Masters Program. Maria has clinical interests in behavioral health, building socio-emotional skills, stress management, time management and self-esteem. During her free time she enjoys tutoring children, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
