If you have morals DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS CLEANERS! This was by far the RUDEST cleaners I ever visited by far. I am a person who stutters and I repeated the phrase "I am a" three times until the gentleman interrupted and said, "I am a I am a I am a" and snickered with another older woman customer. I threw my shirts back into the car and the gentlemen went to the door and signaled me to come back in, confused on what he did wrong. I went back in and said "I stutter and you mocked me." He said, "Oh I did not realize that. I was not meeting to offend you." I felt much better and then told him that I will go back outside and grab my shirts. I FULLY forgot about it and was ready to definitely get my shirts cleaned by this cleaners. As soon as I closed the door, I turned around and I saw him snickering with the woman AGAIN. I do not mind people mocking my stutter due to not understanding that I have one. It could be perceived as a joke, which is something I am fine with. Even after I told him about my stutter, his apology was not sincere due to him laughing at me AGAIN behind my back. He was trying to forget about the situation so I do business with him. I BEG to all of you not to give this cleaning service your hard earned money. INSTEAD, I suggest visiting another great cleaner service, Mall Dry Cleaners (known as Cornell Laundry and Cleaning Center, a 5 star review on Yelp).
She said she'd make my hair blonde and she left it orange for 220$ it was way too expensive seeing how: 1) she didn't give me the shade I wanted 2) she didn't even use bleach 3) no high lights. She basically used a box blonde dye on my dark brown hair in hopes to make it blonde, and here is my hair orange. Not good at all would not recommend.
why is my previous review get deleted on yelp? I went to this place because all of the positive reviews on Yelp. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice Asian haircut with a reasonable price. I got charged for $80 for a haircut and eyebrow trim. My hair looked silly. But it is definitely not worth $80. If you go to any other places in Ithaca. A haircut like this would only cost around $30. The owner of this business only takes CASH. At the end of my visit, the owner asked me to leave some nice review for her online. I guess that is how she gets her customers in.
People love wegmans. It's a store people rave about. Local, wide selection. Pretty natural. Normal to slightly higher prices.
Friendly Jewish boys mostly haha it's a fun house on west campus. Welcoming to most people. Backyard. Some stoners.
Strange house that gets rented out for weird parties. Seems sketchy. Don't actually know anyone committed to the fraternity itself
Lol. Fun place, nice house on west, friendly members. Lots of people hang out here, a good mix of Greek life students.
HORRIBLE!!! I took 3 pairs of Uggs there to be cleaned. They all came back faded. My daughters deep pink uggs are light pink with white patches all over them. The heal of the boot is still dark pink as well as the ribbon and bows. My other daughters brown boots came back and looked like they had been worn for years. HORRIBLE. These two pairs were bought last winter. Not even a year old. The only pair that they cleaned and didn't ruin were my oldest daughters boots. They were the only pair that I dropped off that had stains on them. They got the stains out and the boots look clean. The other boots had NO stains or water damage on them and now I will have to have them replaced. DO NOT GO HERE. I called to complain and the woman who I spoke to said that they took numerous pictures of the boots when they were dropped off. And that I need to bring the boots in so that they can determine if they are at fault. I asked to see the pictures and she said they will be able to show me them after I drop the boots off, and after the owner looks everything over! I asked when the owner would be in so that I can come and talk with him but I was told that the owner comes and goes and that there is not a set time. I will just have to leave the boots for them to inspect. COMPLETE SCAM. DO NOT trust them with your boots.
Best hair cuts for me hands down. The price is more than most people are used to, but they are absolutely worth it.
I have to admit. The origonal problem was my own. I tried to bleach my own dark hair and go blond by myself. I called up Shear Style in hopes that they could save me. I went in and saw a stylish, who I don't want to name. But basically she tried really hard to help me. She was very understanding that I wanted to go blond and tried to help me get to that point. She did an all over color to cover the green that had shown up in my hair. I loved it! But after two days it had faded out and the green came back! So I went back and saw the same stylist and she ended up putting something in my hair called "quickies". These sticky little hair extensions. She charged me 10 dollars to put two pieces in to cover up the green, because she didn't want to dye my already damaged hair again. I got home and took a shower to help blend the new pieces into my hair. They immediately fell out!! I was infuriated. But then I thought that maybe I wasn't supposed to shower so soon after having them stuck to my head. As they were just an adhesive. So I called and spoke to the same stylist and asked if there was a certain amount of time to wait before showering, and she said no. That anytime is fine. And then I told her what happened. Her entire tone changed. And she got very upset. She started freaking out that it was a waste of product and that that should not have happened. I was taken aback and apologized, that it might be my fault. And she said she could order more and put them in. But I declined and asked if I could get my money back. She said yes but that I would have to wait until tomorrow. But she was totally rude about the whole thing. In conclusion... I won't be going back
