I just wanted to write a review and tell everyone how great Carlos and his mom are. About two years ago now they both saved my life. I had a terrible addiction and with their passion caring and love a long with treatment I am still a live and doing better. I can't even begin to show my appreciation and gratitude for you guys. I recommend AIMC-accpuncture and Interlgrative Medical Center. You guys have a permenent customer so you'll be seeing me again. Thank you again. Ha this time ill be on time.

Dr. Chapa is Great

This clinic is hidden in that plaza where I heart Pho, Plato's Closet and the Boba Tea are perched up on a hill on MacArthur Blvd. I was very skeptical about acupuncture and herbal medicine. However, I had a really bad leg cramp for several days from running that hadn't improved with warm compresses and so I thought I'd give Dr. Chapa a try after reading the reviews and talking to some of my friends.

I called and I was easily able to make an appt. Dr. Chapa was friendly and professional. He examined my leg and put some acupuncture needles in my calf. I was expecting the worse, but I didn't even feel him putting them in! The needles are super-thin. I didn't notice an immediate effect, but my leg cramping completely resolved in the next 1-2 days.

As Dr. Chapa says, it's complementary medicine--that is, it complements Western medicine. It was very interesting talking to him about his view on CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine). His prices are reasonable and it turns out that my insurance covered some of the costs (you still have to pay your co-pay)!!! I didn't realize that you can use complementary medicine (acupuncture and herbs) for all kinds of health issues--weight loss, asthma, eczema, fatigue, infertility, etc. I will definitely be going back.

I highly recommend Valley Ranc...

I highly recommend Valley Ranch Acupuncture Clinic. Carlos Chapa and Dong Jang are the two doctors who started this clinic, they are knowledgeable, thorough and insightful professionals. I have had personal treatments from the both of them. They take the time to learn about your health conditions, and discuss not only those conditions but also any other concerns you might have. The first consultation I can honestly say was the best I have ever had. They were really understanding and I felt very comfortable about discussing my health problems. They both have the best bedside manner, which combined with their perceptive diagnoses and deep knowledge of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, inspire the kind of trust and confidence that we want to have in our doctors. I am someone who is not comfortable with needles but when I had mine done I noticed that the needles were really really thin, and felt just a tiny prick.

It is always important to have trust in your provider and I believe Carlos and Dong are exceptionally kind and trustworthy. They have helped me enormously when western medicine could no longer help me. I can feel that my body is doing 100% better since I have started my treatment. I am thankful that they have helped me take the first steps in recovering my inner body because my health should my first priority. Please do visit them if you are considering treatment. You will be happy you did. It will be the best decision you made honestly.
