Do not under any circumstances go to this tailor. I needed an outfit taken in for my wedding, and what I got back was a butchered mess. Don't be fooled by her '30 years of experience'. She doesn't actually do ANY tailoring herself any more. She admitted to me that she just takes it to the dry cleaners next door and has their alteration person do it.

The job she did for me was very expensive and yet wound up looking like a child with a broken sewing machine had done the alterations. Ms Moon wouldn't even come out to the front counter in her hoarder's den of a shop and talk to me like a human being. She just kept saying from behind the counter "It good." and then ignoring me entirely.

The seams were all misaligned, parts of it were accidentally sewn together that weren't meant to be, there was not a single seam that was sewn in a straight line instead of wavy mess, there were big gaps in the seams where the bobbin ran out of thread, there were loose threads everywhere, there were places where the outfit was bunched up where it shouldn't be, a ton of spots where they backtracked unevenly, leaving a big zig-zag, one side is an inch shorter than the other side, and I have no words to explain the weird thing they did at the front of the garment.

I should have listened to my instincts when I first brought the outfit in. Talking with her initially about what I needed done was extremely difficult. She doesn't speak very good English, and wouldn't listen to me when I was trying to talk to her. I also couldn't understand her half the time with her blaring radio, extremely thick accent, and broken English. Her shop looks like a junk store with barely a path to walk in through the giant stacks of trash. As a formerly professional tailor, I would have thought that Ms. Moon would have at least looked over the work done, rather than just handing it over to me, hoping I wouldn't notice how bad it was.
