Unfortunately this experience and quality of customer service has been far from exceptional, in order to provide our customers, old and new, with a #1 store for all of their gaming needs, we have are under new management complete with a new team of dedicated associates and repair technician.

This is a very poorly run business where customer service is practically non-existent. I have sent a system for repair, and it has taken much longer than it should have, and I even offered to pay more for the system to get fixed, and they keep refusing, saying that they want to "save" me money, and one guy even said that it does not matter if I pay $1000, $100,000 or a million dollars it take “time”, even though it has been in MUCH longer than it should have. I thought businesses were run to make money, no? This horrendous excuse for a "business" is too cheap to hire more than one tech, and there should be at least five techs to split the pressure, instead of having one tech fix 60 systems at once; the business could be run much more efficiently that way. The trade-in values are also complete garbage. Even Gamestop would give the consumer more trade-in benefits than these people. I sent my broken PS2 system 18 days ago, and I have cancelled the repair for it yesterday, due to the lack of progress, which is inexcusable when they have had all of this time to fix one broken part of my system.
Five months ago, I have purchased a Sega Genesis system from them, and the system did not work, and I went through the hassle of driving back and forth for two months, telling them that they are using the wrong AC adapter, which is why it will not work. They used the NES AC adapter instead of the Sega Genesis AC adapter, and the system would not work because of that, and finally two months later, they finally figured out that the Sega Genesis AC adapter outputs electricity different from the NES AC adapter, when they should of gotten that right on day one! One other major problem I came across with these people is that they come up with creative excuses one after the next. “Oh, this takes time”, “Oh the tech needs to work on 60 other systems”, “Oh, the parts takes time” when they had well over two weeks to work on it; what are they going to say next “Oh, my toilet doesn’t work anymore.”? This is beyond ridiculous, if the tech really needs to work on that many systems, why not hire an additional four techs to split the pressure? There are plenty of certified techs in the DFW area, and I fail to see why this store has so much trouble hiring more techs. If you will offer a repair service, have more than ONE tech!! I should have sent my broken system to Estarland, at least they have a clear charge, and quick-turn around service, and will not play these silly guessing games that these people play. AVOID Play N Trade at ALL costs, these people are a pain to deal with, and the systems they sell are badly beat, and will fail on you, along with extremely poor overall customer service. Once again, do NOT waste your precious time or money on these people, if you need a system fixed, send it to either Microsoft for the Xbox 360, Estarland for older systems, or even Old School Gamer for all systems, including the Atari 2600. One of those services will get your system fixed and working perfectly again before Play N Trade even gets their hands on it, and you will be confident that you saved as much gas money as you will save by doing it this way.
P.S. After cancelling the repairs, I did not get the broken system back in a timely manner, not only can these shameless people not fix systems within “10 business days”, but apparently delivering unrepaired systems back to the store is a chore to them as well, even though nothing further is being done on the system. Shame on you Play N Trade!
