I want to give them 0( zero but don't see it here) rating for their unprofessional payment processing. In-spite of asking them multiple times about the balance, my portion of the payment they still charged me 2 months after the service was done. Not sure what the team is doing as they are not even capable providing a proper estimate of the costs even after 2 visits ( one consultation and one procedure). Perfect example of rip off and unprofessionalism.
0 star ( Zero star) for them.

I called the number provided by their general manager to review the details , and left a VM 3 days back but there is no response from them. Please don't tell us that you strive to provide exceptional service. Again a perfect example of unprofessionalism and zero star service.
I was referred to Dr. Emmanouil Sigalas by my wonderful dentist Dr. Nix. The issue I had was unusual in the fact that a dentist in Shreveport La. had done several crowns that have not held up & dental insurance wouldn't cover again so soon. That issue to be dealt with but if not for Dr. Nix getting me in right away to Dr. Emmanouil Sigalas, the infection that had come from the defective crowns, I would not even have a chance for a new crown! The reality is I may have had to be hospitalized from the severity of this infection in my jaw that can be spread and cause brain abscess, inflammation in the heart or other major complications! (This was not told to me by these doctors, but I know from research.) So yes, very serious and Dr. Emmanouil Sigalas took me right away, even though he had a full schedule. I have had root canals before but this was much more than any of those! Dr. Emmanouil Sigalas nor my dentist could promise me this would be fixed to even crown again, but he went to work right away and he constantly ask if I was okay, told me what he was doing, what to expect as he was doing it & was 100% honest, no sugar coating the process or problem. Even with that, he was so kind and positive, assuring me along the way while continuing to ascertain I was doing alright! He never promised me to be pain free after this because this was a very severe and serious procedure. He did everything possible to keep me pain free until the antibiotics could start working. He even took a call I made personally, reassured me on my situation and as I apologized for bothering him, he never even let me feel I was bothering him! What a class act! End result is he was able to save tooth to be crowned correctly plus located an unusual 5 canals. While that caused him additional work, he didn't charge any extra! Dr. Emmanouil Sigalas handled all of this with professional, courteous, caring, and his exceptional expertise! Dr. Emmanouil Sigalas to me is "The Rock Star of Endodontists"!
I was referred to Endodontic Associates of Irving by my regular dentist (Dental Concepts, awesome office!) for a root canal retreatment. There was a large infection underneath my molar root canal, and Dr. Sigalas was kind enough to see me that same day in order to perform the retreatment. The staff was courteous to me, but Dr. Sigalas was not courteous to them. He seemed to be in a rush through my whole visit. As I was trying to explain my pain and my concerns (I’m not nervous about dentists nor procedures, but had bad experiences with anesthesia injections in my jaw), he seemed like was too rushed to listen to me and brushed it off by saying “Yes but I need to numb you up” as if I were a child. I was pleasantly surprised that the initial injections bared little pain. I was instantly numb in my tongue, lips, and cheek but could still feel the full pain of the tooth. When I explained this to him he seemed confused and explained he needed to inject around my tooth. He instructed me to raise my left hand if I felt pain.
After the third injection, I raised my left hand as I felt a little bit of pain but tolerable. He ignored my hand and proceeded around the tooth. It got to a particularly sore spot and the pain was beyond anything I’ve experienced. I screamed and the tooth was throbbing worse than I’ve ever felt it. I immediately was sobbing and he told me sternly to stop crying the pain was gone. When I informed him that the tooth was still throbbing in pain he replied “No it isn’t. It shouldn’t be.” He proceeded to tell me “It’s all in your head, there’s no pain”, “you’ve had a baby, this is nothing”, and “You are working yourself up, that is why you’re in pain”. I can assure anyone that my tooth was throbbing and the pain I felt was worse than when I arrived at the office.
He told me he needed to hit that spot again since that was where he needed to focus, “It’s going to hurt, but I have to numb you up”. Again, the pain was beyond any labor contraction I ever felt and I tried hard not to move or scream but ended up screaming again. He hastily removed his instruments and told me “I’m sorry, we cannot work together” and asked me to leave the office and that this was entirely my fault and I’m the one imagining the pain. I apologized for screaming, because I really didn’t intend to scare anyone but the pain was excruciating. I left the office in tears.
I cannot speak for the other dentists in the office, but I believe Dr. Sigalas’ behavior was unprofessional and rude. I would advise any patient to find a specialist who will treat a patient with the respect and consideration they deserve.
First, let me say that I never leave feedback on these sites, but my experience with Dr. Sigalas and his staff, particularly his assistant Tiffany (for her easy-going gentility) and his billing coordinator Yaya (for her patience with my dental plan’s billing), was so pleasant that I felt compelled to commend them for their wonderful service and care. I went in for a root canal retreatment, and from the moment I entered the office, I was treated with kindness and care. Dr. Sigalas took the time to knowledgeably but considerately explain the procedure as well as a couple of options to me, one of which saved me $1,000. He has an extremely gentle hand, which is a welcome change from some other dental care providers I’ve visited that tend to jerk your face and head around during treatment, and every so often he asked if I was still doing okay and seemed genuinely interested in my wellbeing. I never felt one ounce of pain or discomfort, and he has a continued interest in my post-treatment comfort. Thank you Dr. Sigalas, Tiffay, Yaya and the rest of your kind caring staff! I highly recommend these wonderful medical professionals.
