Menu hard to decipher. Ordered the poboy that came on 2 slices of Texas toast, not my description of a poboy. Never asked if I wanted onions, pickles or anything else. Not many people in here. Maybe 2 tables, but about 6 tables still had leftover plates. Found bone slivers in my chopped beef. Not somewhere I'd come back to.
Ordered sliced brisket, ribs, green beans, mac-n-cheese and peach cobbler: yeah, I shouldnt eat so much LOLGreen beans were good: Mac-n-Cheese was soggy, brisket tasted like yesterday's meat reheated and bone dry, and the ribs were just terrible could eat much of them.Cobbler was bland and tasteless.Avoid this place if your tastebuds are still alive. Yikes!

36 dollars for a pound of meat and discussing potato salad. Mush they call Mac n cheese. I am lucky I didn't get sick. My family hated it. And they take forever. Go to Tommy's or Fred's if you live in Irving. They are great.
I stopped by this place on my way home thinking this might just be the place I have been looking for. I love the hole in the wall places as they usually have the best food. They offered me a sample of my choice of beef or pork, I chose beef. It was delicious! It was so moist and juicy it melted in your mouth, with no fat on the meat and the signature sauce was great! I talked my co-workers into ordering from them for lunch today because of my sample I promised it would be better than Dickey's BBQ but to my surprise the experience from beginning to end was not the best. First the ordering process took 10 minutes due to the # of orders we had. They charged 2 delivery fees of $3.75 each making our lunches $12 each and a little extra if you got more than the plate. For 1 they did not have baked potatoes but offered a bowl of loaded mashed potatoes instead. They did not have black eyed peas either so we settled for green beans. The food was cold when it arrived, the potato salad was different and by that I mean it is mayo based with dill and was very acidic and watery. I could not bear it. The polish sausage was just not right. It had the smokey flavor but seemed boiled. it was also delivered with NO SAUCE!! The Beef brisket sandwich was 2 slices of VERY FATTY brisket on 2 slices of Texas toast bread. The banana "puddin" was not much of a "puddin" as it was more vanilla wafers with a dab of what tasted like boxed banana pudding on top with about 6 slices of banana on it. Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again and will continue my search for a great hole in the wall BBQ place in Irving.
Pet Peeves first: it's 12:30, lunch time, and they are out of iced tea and syrup has dried up at the fountain. At 1pm nothing had changed. PLUS they only have Sporks: feel like I'm in kindergarten.I ordered the three-meat platter, with fried okra (very plump and tasty) and Mac-n-Cheese (so little cheese your lactose intolerant aunt would be safe eating it).Pulled Pork: not a lot of flavor, so sauced it for help.Sliced Brisket: no smoke flavor but it was cooked well. Sauce helped it.Ribs: very nice, smokey, tasty, flavorful. No sauce needed for these babies. I'd come back for these and the okra.
