We're the proud parents of a 14 year old son Brandon P, who served as the Associated Student Body and Speech & Debate President of Jeffrey Trail Middle School in Irvine during 2016-17. He won 1st Place Speaker at the Orange County Debate League Championship Tournament on May 6, 2017. He also won Best Delegate at Whitney High School, Model United Nations Conference XIV on May 14, 2016. That summer, he debuted as a solo cellist in Germany and Austria. Brandon has a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and participated in triathlon, water polo, and chess. He's been recognized twice as a Young Master Artist. Brandon is working diligently to gain admission to the United States Military Academy at West Point. He plans to study law and serve his country one day. Brandon has always embraced their cadet motto, "Duty, Honor, Country!" We believe as parents, we have the sacred duty to raise our kids to be decent human beings first. Then, provide them the very best education. So that they may grow to become good contributing members of society. As we reflected on these thoughts, we urgently needed guidance from teachers who shared our family values. We considered staying with the public school system. However, our children became entangled in the common core practices, which held them back. Our schools have become overcrowded, making the student-teacher ratio unsustainable. After researching several private schools in Orange County, our family decided to enroll our son and daughter in Pacific Academy, Irvine. The teachers have advance degrees, and it revealed stunning contrast to the public schools. Since they started attending PA in August, they've made good friends, they're happier, and improving their grades. If there's any parent considering sending their children to a private school with big hopes and dreams, I'd highly recommend Pacific Academy! With best wishes,James and Joyce P.
I am happy to rate Dr. Louie as Five Stars across the board! He is simply the best! Started with him over 40 years ago, and though we live in Ariz…
The dining experience/service is good and cool atmosphere. The food however is lacking greatly. Tried it a couple of times and different menu items but each time I have wanted away not likely the "quality" of the food. Do not plan on returning and would not recommend.
Love this place... great food! Great service and friendly staff! And love the vibe in here! Always a good time!
Great place for work parties. Often meet with our Orange County distributors here. The Pazzokie is unbeatable! Pretty good service too.
Best build your own burgers around. We eat here weekly since we discovered it several years back. Food is great. Sweet potato fries rock and kids love the shakes (and the 1 lb burger!)
The service here was very attentive. One of the most important things of going to any restaurant! Almost if not more important than the food. I'll be back!
Recently had lunch here with a large group. We were able to fax in our order in advance. Our table was ready when we arrived. Everything went very smooth. The food and service was great.
What a waste... Stay away from this place, it's one of those fakes restaurants where owners are probably doing something else, or not restaurateurs, or they have money but no taste. Reception was bad, their staff looked lost (and obviously unhappy - owners that's your fault) while waiting for the table, we were at the bar and bartender was insultingly rude (and looked angry, frustrated, and didn't seemed happy to be there ) and drinks were horrible... We were seated after a while (even though restaurant was empty??) 2 different people came to our table and said 'I am your server for the night' and third person served us dinner(??) They obviously have something going on there - again, owners, it's on you if your staff is not happy... And biggest disappointment is: just a ridiculous menu (it's not a menu, it's a joke), they have some "fancy" names and descriptions (where nothing matches and pairs) and it doesn't represent any cuisine... and food tasted - as the whole experience - in general mediocre and sad. Chewy steak and tasteless overcooked fish, mushy sides and dry, everything was dry... Interior: simply said, dated. Place is a joke, but not a funny one for the customer as prices are up there... I'll tell you, we are never going back, there are tons of other places to spend money for real food experience and service... Reading the other 2 reviews it is so obvious that they posted it them self. It's so pathetic. Avoid them.
If you are looking for something lighter/fresher, you should come here. I've tried the fish and the steak big plates, both are very good. Also try their blueberry soda! Lines get extremely long during lunch hours though. If you order online, you can go straight to the front of the line to pick up.
Whenever I go to Huston I always eat steak salad- mind blowing. Also crab cake and roasted chicken at Huston are highly recommended. A perfect place to have a nice cozy yummy dinner.
