Stuck in Coachella, and our insurance dispatched Pride Towing. Chris & Noel ( or Noah). Not only did they go above and beyond to help our family get back on the road, they were professional and friendly. In a time when so many people say customer service is dead, these individuals and their company showed what real customer service is about. We cannot thank your company and employees enough!

A NIGHTMARE and cost me $. An hour and a half wait ended up taking 3 hours. They gave me excuse after excuse and the same excuse twice. There is no traffic in the desert during the summer. The lady on the phone-Lyndsey is very rude and didn't care that she was making excuses, nor the fact that the tow truck driver broke my selector level control and then acted as if he hadn't done anything said he couldn't tow me due to other reasons(not enough room). I called Lyndsey who seemed to be the one trying to be in charge since they kept directing me to her and told her what happened and she said hold on, put me on hold for a couple minutes, got back on and said there's nothing I can do about it and hung up. I am going to complain to my insurance company who sent them to me and they need to get pride towing to pay for the fix on my car. The tow truck driver also wanted me to sign a waiver so he could some weird way try to move my car knowing he would mess it up.no way I said.
My car broke down in a dangerous spot on a very busy street. The towing company said a truck would arrive in 20 minutes. Shortly after (about 845pm) I received a text stating that the eta was 945. At 950 I got frustrated and called to see if perhaps the driver could not find me. The dispatcher told me that he had just sent somebody out, and they would arrive in 10 to 20 minutes. This was now over an hour since he had first told me he had sent a driver out. 1015 rolls around, so I called once again. The dispatcher said that the driver was "like right there". I found this response vague and very unprofessional. He also said that the driver would be calling me. At 1050, the truck finally arrived; with no call, and 35 minutes later! The driver himself was fine. No problems with the tow itself, however, due to the quality of their customer service, I will not be using pride towing again nor will I recommend them to anyone.
ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE of a tow job from start to finish. Driver was inexperienced and unprofessional with my valuable antique car. He asked me to drive up the very steep ramp and hold the brakes 'til he leveled the bed, instead of cinching the car up. BIIIIIG NO-NO. He also asked me to help him with the tie-down straps, because he had wrapped one around a brake line. ANOTHER NO-NO. Upon arrival at the destination, he backed the truck over a curb, making the car rock wildly side-to-side...one eyewitness saw it come off two wheels! I don't think he ever properly secured the car, because when he tilted the ramp, the car suddenly rolled off, narrowly missing a truck, a tree and a building by INCHES - and knocking me down flat, scraping my face, hands, elbow, knee, etc....blood pouring down my face and onto my shirt...and after this total fiasco, he actually ASKED ME FOR A TIP!!! NO, I AM NOT KIDDING. I never even received any sort of an apology from this company!! My advice: stay away from "Pride Towing" like it's a plague.
I wrote a huge review out of anger about my experience with this company but it didnt save. So instead of writing it again I'll tell you that you better pray to god when your told that PRIDE Towing will be helping you with your vehicle
awfull terrible miserable experience with a bunch of idiots. Please avoid this company and please note how fake all of the positive reviews for this company are.
Negative 5 Stars
Called in for a jump for my dead battery. Was sourced a technician from Pride Towing through my Roadside Assistance program. Good responsiveness, fast service and friendly technician, however that's where the good ended. The technician hooked up his portable charger to my battery and asked me to try my car (it uses a keyless push-button start) - no go. Asked me to try my lights, nothing was working. He then proceeded to tell me that my battery reading was full - I asked him how that was possible since I just drove the car yesterday, didn't have any malfunctions, and I confirmed that I had left the map light on all night... He then proceeded to prescribe all sorts of extensive and outlandish fixes. Long story short, fortunately my wife also has AAA so we called them for a "2nd opinion" - the next technician who came from Sea Country Towing hooked up his voltmeter and charger, printed me a statement showing my battery was low, but the starter had charge, and jumped my car about 30 seconds later. It's one thing to be incompetent (which is bad enough, but we all can make mistakes)...it's another to then prescribe a number of items and diagnose things to check in my engine about which you have no knowledge after not being able to perform the fix. So again, good responsiveness and customer service, very incompetent and frustrating car jump experience. Maybe for tows they are more competent.
Called in for a flat tire late at night they were there really quick. The customer service is very respectful and comforting, they talk to you, relate, and calm you down. I wish them all the success in the future! Definitely call them if you need a two or etc.
These other people who review this company are idiots you can't control traffic and if their is a naccident this company is about dedication and quality service to their customers. I had too much to drink at a bar an had to have my motorcycle towed A. Bedross the driver for this company picked me up within an hour of calling my insurance company to tow me home on his birthday. I've been riding my motorcycle for a quiet a number of years and have never felt this safe having my bike towed. They really know what they are doing . Really come on on your birthday and you still give quality service to you last customer of the day that says something about the type of people pride towing hires. Amazing!!!!!!!!!! Everything now an days is about social media and customer service which is why I took the time to sign up and write a review for this company and its amazing driver who takes pride in what he does. Made me feel safe having my expensive motorcycle towed. Thanks again hope this review eliminates those stupid negative reviews below me pride towing holds up to their name PRIDE TOWING is an amazing quality company. If they take care of my expensive motorcycle imagine how they care for you car.
These guys are awesome! usually when my car breaks down I use my geico roadside, they usually take about 45-60 minutes to get there; but this time i used my mercedes warrenty road side thing, the phone person said that they could get someone out there with in 30 minutes and of course they called in Pride they were there with in 20 minutes. Sony the Driver looked very professional and made it look very easy. Thank You guys!!
We were on vacation, and my car keys accidently got locked in the trunk. There were 7 of us about to go to the beach when this happened. At 1st, they said it would take an hour. I explained our situation. They were out in 15 min and took him seconds to unlock and be done. Great service and i felt safe. Thank you!
These guys were absolute perfection, they were there with in 20 minutes, when the ETA was 30 minutes, I called in for AAA and them at the same time and they showed up before AAA, the guy even had water for me because it was a hot day. The manger there Mike, he is one of the most understanding guys I've ever done business with; I explained to him i had an issue with money and he adjusted the payment to something I could afford. I'm just glad because i get this professional quick service any time I'm in the area. Thank you guys you truly do take pride in making the people's day much better by helping keep their day going.
Awful, awful, terrible. And I'm not normally a complainer. I actually joined this site just so I could write this review. I waited for this company for 3 hours in the sun, directing traffic around my stalled car in a major metropolitan area. I finally gave up and called another tow company, who was there in 20min. Love the name "Pride", but honestly, they're an embarrassement. The Pride dispatcher explaned that their truck overturned and was in a wreck on the freeway. I don't know if this was supposed to make me feel better, but really??!! Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys at all costs!
This tow company, unfortunately, does all of the tows for corporate Toyota. I work at a Body Shop and I have to say that this is the worst tow company I have ever used. I have had the horror of dealing with them twice. The drivers have no idea how to write their own invoices, so they call the owner (who, by the way, is a thief), they have no breakdown showing what it is that you are paying for, and the second time (the most recent time, and the reason I am writing this review) they dropped off an invoice with the towed car for $277.50 only to later fax me an invoice for $462.50. They picked this car up from Mission Viejo and drove it to me in Irvine. They claimed that they had to send out two different cars and did over an hour clean up. I contacted the vehicle owner and asked him if that was the case. Of course it wasn't. Don't let this awful family owned business take your money!
