Wish there could be a zero option. This place is a joke! I ordered hair extensions thru them for almost $450. The next day I called and said I no longer needed them and asked for a refund. At the time, they were very accommodating to this request. However, the original request came in mid September... after 7 months and numerous emails/attempts to contact, I have received nothing! At this point, they won’t even email or call me back. To sum it up, they have committed theft.
Firstly, I was told that the technician could not offer me a French tip pedicure, which is what I wanted. Then she spent a minimal amount of time with scrubbing and applying lotion to my legs and feet. I also didn’t realize how sloppily the polish was applied until I was at home and put my glasses on. I’ve had many pedicures at several different salons. This was the poorest quality pedicure I have ever received and also the most expensive. I won’t go back.
I had been going to this place for the past 6 years for my haircut I love the service the atmosphere and music it's so relaxing. I highly recommend to this place.
This saloon makes you feel at home from the minute you walk in from Linda and the girls at the front desk to Doug (owner) and everyone that works there. My regular gal, Lisa, moved to another state, but everyone that has done my hair since has done an excellent job. They all go above and beyond to make a person feel comfortable. Marilyn
Twin Image is generally a nice place and has some very good stylists and nail technicians. However, it's a trial and error method unless you already know who you are to see. This may be true for all salons and it is natural to connect with some people more than with the others, but the quality of service provided by the salon of a certain caliber has to be predictable and consistent. Twin Image has been disappointing quite a bit in the quality of nail treatment area.
I spent years hopping between hair salons until I found my home with The Wave Length. Shannon, my stylist, makes me feel comfortable each time I get a haircut and I always leave with a smile and a great style. This salon has a wide array of services (including haircuts, manicures, pedicures, spray tans, facials, and makeup application) and each stylist is dedicated to ensuring each client gets a quality experience. I would trust anyone working there to do a great job. I even started getting my nails done! It's a top-level salon at a great price. I highly recommend it to everyone I know!
They were very nice and I had a nice conversations with them. Kathy did the designs and they were very pretty and intricate . Whenever I go there, it seems 5 people come in to do their eyebrows. They seem to really like it.I know people say it is very unclean, but it's not like you're licking the floor or anything. They sanitize the pedicure chairs and wash their towels.Overall, I really liked the business and would come again.
The first time I went to this salon was for a set of acrylic nails. No problem. I went back about a month later to have my nails done and have a pedicure. This was at 6:45. While I was having the pedicure another person began doing my nails right there at the pedi-chair. The person doing the pedi poked me several times with the nail clippers, as well as put a scalding hot towel across my feet. When she did that I began yelling and kicking my feet trying to fling the towel off. She just sat there looking at me instead of removing the towel. No apology; she behaved like nothing had happened. When my nails were finished I wasn't directed to a nail drier but had to sit in the pedi-chair while my nails air dried. After about 20 minutes I was told I could leave. My nails didn't cure and I have eight nails with the polish chipped. I couldn't go back the next but I did go back the day after that. I arrived at 7:30 only to find the salon closed. They advertise that they're open Monday through Saturday until 8:00. That's when I realized why two people were attending to me; it wasn't because they were busy but because they wanted to be sure to close right at 8:00. I'm going back this morning to have them fix the damage to my nails. I paid $50 with a $15 tip for this mess, and I won't be a bit surprised if they refuse to fix the damage. I'm giving them one star because a zero isn't an option.
I have gone here for years. They take their time & do a quality job unlike other local places. Don't go anywhere else....
We stopped in for a mens haircut and asked for a trim. There must be only one kind of mens haircut in this place as they grabbed the clippers and started shaving. This would explain the price difference for a mans haircut compared to a womans. When we said something to her noting that that was not what we asked for she kicked us out and told us to go somewhere else. GLADLY! We will not step foot back in this place and we will definitely make sure that no one else has the same issue we did. They were extremely rude to us!
