Really good margaritas in a fun, chilled environment. Brought colleagues from work whom all loved the place, and especially the appetizers and the drinks. Will happily return!

First. The restaurant is now called Mama's. they have almost The same menu items but more expensive. The items we came for are not available. The food taste and service is ok. The enchiladas were acidic, like the sauce is old. The cleanliness is subpar, mainly in the bathroom and the ice tastes salty.
What a disappointment! The service by Juliana was horrific! Empty drinks, slow food and the manager was no better
Can't believe it took me so long to eat here. It's delicious! I highly recommend the abuela salad (shredded chard, chayote, onion, radish, Apple, queso fresco, avocado with a cilantro dressing), empanada with mustard and creamy adobo sauce, and the chicken a la Veracruzana. So good!
Great place and the food is awesomely great...it was my 1st visit and it definitely won't be my last..
Five stars for the food is a must here. When you are in the mood for really unhealthy, authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. Pretty inexpensive for a ton of food and everyone there is pretty nice. I've only ever picked up and taken home to eat but they've never gotten an order of mine wrong. I usually go for the #12 which includes a chalupa, taco and enchilada. I've tried the chicken, but the ground beef is by far the better choice. The queso is always spot on. My coworkers and I look forward to ordering here at least once a month. Would recommend for any girls night or a meal you want to take home to eat in front of the tv. Delicious.
The manger Mayo and Ashely the worst ever. I will never go back and if you know what's good for you stay away. This Mayo person that is supposed to be a manger was beyond rude that I ended up leaving all my food and getting a refund over three dollars. Then when everyone tried to tell them they were wrong for how I was treated they said they wouldn't service us any more. When a member of the restaurant tried to tell me he's always this rude to blacks because of the side of town it's on just turned my stomach. The owners should be ashamed not that they probably care, and for that I say stay away.
Pure has a few locations in Atlanta, but this one is definitely my favorite. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is always lively - I love the big projector TV in the back - and the margs are always great. When I have to choose between this and neighboring Bartaco, I always choose Pure for two reasons:1. Queso. Obviously. Pure's queso with jalapenos is absolutely awesome.2. Portion sizes. You're definitely getting your money's worth at this place - I usually have enough to take home.Their brunch is also surprisingly out of this world - try the Mollete con Huevos!!
I seem to have missed the "we love Bartaco" train everyone always raves about - every time I have been here I have been disappointed. The food is average, the service has always been terrible and everything seems extremely overpriced (especially the margaritas). I would choose Pure or Across the Street before I'd wait 2 hours on a Friday for this place.Bright spot: I do LOVE their corn. Definitely order that if you're going!
El Taco has some of the best Mexican food around VaHi. Their queso is awesome and the margs are fabulous - plus they always have a fun special taco to offer.Service has been a bit lackluster the last few times I have been, but won't deter me from returning - a good spot for big parties as well!
