After not having a Dr for 20 years, I had my first appointment with my new Primary Care Physician - Dr. K. Klotz at the 38th St. Center. I took too long selecting a physician, so my insurance assigned me to him. I was planning on choosing a female doctor but not wanting to waste time, I decided to give him a chance and I am so glad I did! Scheduling was a bit of a bear, had to wait several weeks before I could get in, but they said that was because I am a new patient and scheduling shouldn't be so limited once I am an established patient. The Facility is fairly new. It appears well maintained, fresh and welcoming. Free Parking that is somewhat inconvenient - not enough handicapped spaces and even those are a good distance from the door. For those of us who are mobility challenged, the walk to and from the car is excruciatingly difficult. The Health Center is a well oiled machine - organized, convenient, and efficient.. Every single staff member that I encountered was friendly, polite and knowledgeable This being the initial appointment, it was a lengthy process. Dr. Klotz was wonderful. He spent considerable time discussing my concerns. I felt that despite all the patients in the building, in that moment I had his full attention and he actually listened. He was kind, and respectful yet honest and straightforward. All of my questions were answered in terms that I could understand. As far as first appointments goes, the good Dr. knocked it out of the park! I have spent a long time suffering and today, just by taking his time with me, he gave me with a long forgotten tingle of hope, a flicker of light at the end of this long dark tunnel of pain. I look forward to continuing down this path, to improvement and recovery, with him guiding the way! (you have no idea how happy I am right now! lol) An added benefit to this facility is the convenience of having so many different services at the same location - made me think of a Health Care Mall. I accomplished intake, Dr's visit, flu shot, blood labs, X-rays, and Pharmacy without having to leave the building. It can make for a long day at the doctors office but it more than makes up for it by saving me gas money and drive time! These are all the little details that I was trying to find while searching for a Dr. Sorry it is such a long read but I wanted to make sure it was all in there for the next person scouring the web for a new Physician. Stay Healthy!

Harborside Healthcare is an excellent nursing home. My mother was a patient there for 6 months following her surgery to repair a broken hip. My mom had many complications and needed round the clock care that I could not provide at home. With many reservations, I admitted her to a skilled nursing facility. Needless to say, I could not have been more surprised by the care my mom received. My mom was treated just like she was a family member. The nursing staff was caring and compassionate and very dedicated to their residents. I was included in all plans for my mom's rehabilitation and kept fully informed of her progress. The staff went out of their way to make my mom feel at home. They provided all kinds of "extras" - like making sure she had her favorite beverages to drink (that weren't on the regular menu) and sending someone in to read to her at night before she went to bed. The staff at Harborside works very hard for very little money, I would imagine. These are truly dedicated angels who go the extra mile to take care of their patients. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is faced with the extremely difficult decision of having to put their parent in a nursing home. This facility will take excellent care of your family member!
My family was very disappointed with the service of this place as we feel we were not listened too. Phone calls were not answered, in fact I left a message over a week ago which I'm still awaiting a call back on. Appointments were not available for months at a time and side effects of medications were not taken seriously. Our insurance was not accepted so all payments had to be made in full and out-of-pocket. I now regret that we did not return to Riley Childrens Hospital. Dealing with downtown traffic would have been worth the better service and caring attitude.
my sister was hit by a car and in critical condition. the doctors and nurses are the best. they kept me updated on my sister and have given her the best care n the world!! im so happy she was brought to methodist hospital. she has been recovering quite well do to the excellent help of the staff there. i would recommend anyone in bad shape take their family to methodist in indianapolis. my family and i r very impressed and this gives us alot of comfort.
There's no place like Clarian. Had a double lung transplant 3 1/2 years ago,by Dr Reynolds and surgeon Dr Hourmouth, both the best in the world. Also, nurses on 7 North are the greatest. So if you have a choice, GO CLARIAN METHODIST.. You won't be dissapointed. I travel 3 hours to see my Docs, and it's worth it!! Love you guys at Clarian.. God Bles you all...
Methodist is THE topnotch hospital in Indiana...they have the most knowledgeable physicians and take the utmost care with their patients. I have been going to Methodist for various family issues for over 20 years and, in my opinion, their service just keeps improving. Never would I consider a different hospital for any of my needs or my family's needs.
my niece was so happy with her experience delivering her baby at community north. those were the most beautiful rooms and the nurses were great!!!!!!!!!!!!! the experience and care was without flaw. this comes from an MD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Klotz is one of the best Doctors ever he listens to my concerns and takes care of them. Sure there is wait to be seen but is worth it because I know that my doctor cares alot about me.
I wish to thank all of the Doctors and Nurses for saving my life. I was near death from a motorcycle accident. I spent all of June in the hospital. Roger Blanford
I had a little trouble finding their clinic, but once i was there the staff was very respectful and did a great job.
