BUG! BIG BUG!! IN THE FOODS!!I found a BUG (BIG MOSQUITO) in the food (Thai noodle soup). The owner said "I am sorry but it happens. if you do not like, you do not have to come back." How could an owner say to a customer this? Also he said "in Thailand, we eat bugs." So is it Okay to have bug in the food?I will never go to this restaurant AGAIN. Please be aware of your foods or Do not go !* below picture is not the food but same kind of bug it was in the food.
I go to Thai places all over town. This is one of the best. Consistently a 4 out of 5, sometimes a 5 of 5
We've been eating at Thai Spice for years. The owner knows what I like well enough to question my husband on take out orders and tell him that's not what I like. Even our kids love eating here! You can order with no heat or hotter than most Americans can handle. They're generally pretty busy, but food comes quickly.
So disappointed. This restaurant is right around the corner from my place so I had high hopes for a new Go-To take out place. It was IMHO the worst Thai food I have ever purchased. I had the Lad Nar with pork. The rice noodles were over-cooked to the point of dissolving when touched; the pork dry and flavor-less. My other meal was the fried rice with beef and it was just horrible! Imagine "Minute Rice" overcooked in bullion water with Grey-colored Mystery Meat chunks. The Crab Rangoons were tasty yet soggy. Most likely cooked 1st and boxed immediately. The worst $25 I have ever spent on food. Don't bother with with this place. : (
Great food cooked up fresh, awesome sweet/spicy/savory flavors, not cheap, not expensive, most items $8.95...go to counter or sit at table with menus on table, highly recommend unless you like the cheap chinese buffet types...
We were pleasantly surprised when we tried the food here. We especially loved the Yellow Curry (Massaman?) , the Crab Rangoon and Chicken Satay. We are excited to come back many times to try their other dishes! (we were also very happy to find out that they deliver!)
Opened in early 2007. Everything is very clean, new, upscale, and tastefully decorated. The dinner hour wasn't crowded, but I was impressed that it looked like they already had established a carry-out clientele who knew what they wanted.Located on the South side of Pendleton Pike, next to BW3. You might not see their sign from the road. So if you're going NE on Pendleton Pike, turn right into the strip mall where you see the "DEALS" store or BW3. If you pass Wal-mart, you've gone too far. This is one of the fancier Vietnamese restaurants in town. Very nice china plates. Cloth napkins. Stainless steel eating utensils. Fancy menu with spiral binding.I had the poultry rolls appetizer, and liked it. It's like a spring roll with chicken instead of shrimp and pork.I also had the Bun Bo Xao, cool rice noodles with beef, and it was excellent. The staff is very friendly. This is a good place to take someone to impress them. Much better than what you would expect in a strip mall.
