Absolutely Horrific experience! When my friend arrived her bed and room were not prepared. The bathroom was filthy. She had come to the facility with a blood sugar over 500 and for 13 days she was served high carb foods which she denied leaving me to bring her food daily. When getting there her medicines were not in system, or given to her on time, and no insulin given before giving her a meal. Many days I sat there with her as we waited for hours after she turned her nurse light on for assistance. Many of the nurses had terrible attitudes and some where down right mean. I was told by one nurse they are extremely understaffed and that's why patients are laying in their urine and feces. One evening my friend asked for ice and she was told they would have to go out and buy ice because there was no more in the ice machine. My friend is a severe diabetic and came in with a ulcer on her foot. It had fortunately healed but they never even checked her feet or the wound just to be sure nothing else had developed. She was very weak and currently has 4 large hernia's so it was very difficult for her to do herself. I removed her after 13 days and now they refuse to give her the remaining medicines to have at home.

They need to hire a receptionist. I called constantly and no one answered the telephone. This is very disappointing, and if someone was calling to admit a patient at least they will know there will be no information given by phone.
Toured wasn't super impressed with the overall facility, there is construction so that may play a part but the staff were not friendly I was there after hours staff not really willing to answer questions and it just didn't really have an inviting feeling
Doc was awesome!! Receptionist, when asked if channel on TV could be changed said, 'no!! They want it on this channel all the time!' Asked if it could be changed until my elderly mother went back for procedure. Finally let me change it but when leaving room she immediately changed it back! Customers should come first!
Their amazing, they were so helpful and caring of my grandmother. The staff treated her like she was their own grandma.
Very friendly family oriented facility. While it is not as new as some, they keep the facilities in great shape and very clean. The care they have shown my dad during his stay has been very good - they have been very positive, laughing, and helpful in addition to their regular duties. The facility itself has a nice homey feel with lots of trees around it plus plenty of sidewalks for exercie. Even though the back is near Arlington Avenue, it has proven a very peaceful and quiet location. Will review again after my dad is released and if everything still goes so well would definitely up it to five stars.
My Aunt lived here for 6 months until she could move out of state to stay with her daughter. We visited DAILY. The staff is wonderful & most caring. Dignity and honor is top notch. My Aunt was in the Memory care wing. Very secure & safe (with combo doors to keep residents from wondering (this is Alzheimer patients)..Once I found a staffer visiting with my Aunt during her break... jsut spending her own free time with my Aunt that remembered so little. They all treated her so wonderfully & were so good to us also. My only complaint... It is so pricey! I would move my Dad here in a heartbeat if we could afford it! The care they deliver can not be matched.
