In late August 2018 WAXWERKS in Castleton, Indiana asked me if I would come and do Car Audio Installations for them on a part time basis since all their Car Audio Installers quit. I accepted the offer to do car audio installs on the weekend and sometimes during the week if available. The Timothy Luther asked me if I would come aboard full time and run and manage the Car Audio side of the business. I advised them I would think about it but only if they could guarantee that I maintain my salary level at my current job plus give me a upfront sign-on bonus to help me cover my bills while I transitioned over. The Timothy Luther agreed and I was advised that the owner of WAXWERKS agreed on the sign-on bonus. I turned in my 2 weeks resignation at my current job as I worked in corporate America for 21 years and came aboard full-time on November 5, 2018.I was written a check for my bonus, and the check was returned NSF. I confronted Timothy Luther and Princy Hart about the issue and he advised that he would rectify the issue and have the owner of WAXWERKS reissue check to me as no money was deposited into the account that check was written on as of yet. I was advised on numerous occasions that this would be handled. 5 weeks later and nothing has been done. This NSF check has cause financial hardship on me and my family, my checking account is in the negative. Timothy Luther and Princy Hart began lying and making excuses as to why check had not been reissued to me. After all the aftermath, I had to quit there because it became a Hostile Workplace which made it a toxic work environment for everyone working there. I took them at face value to become part of their team and manage their Car Audio business, due to their unfair business practice that Princy Hart has allowed Timothy Luther to engage in at her place of business.
I went in for an oil change and have my car serviced. Everyone was Very professional and welcoming. The gentleman went beyond to help me with my van. Thank you car-x.
STAY AWAY!!! SCAMMER!!! This guy Tony will ask you for $3000 in deposit for parts and labor and then make up lies about whats wrong with the truck and keep asking for more and more money until he drains you!
Won’t sell it must be put in car or truck. Wanted $300.00+ for a $100 radiator and 50/50 antifreeze put in. They buy antifreeze in bulk, and I don’t mind someone making a living, but $150 profit on a 20 min job is crazy 😜😝! Wouldn’t send my enemy there!
We were stranded on a Sunday, 300 miles from home. Our vehicle had been vandalized and was not drive able. No one else would tow us so far but J&F did! Our driver RT was the best. Professional and friendly. We could not rent a car one way!? but was able to ride back with RT. The ride was fun and went very quickly with lots of fun conversation and laughs.We were able to stop frequently for bathroom brakes. The absolute best experience with a tow company ever!!!!
The people here were courteous and answered all my questions. John was very helpful with information for me in the future with my car as well. Greg Hauk (Tint Master) took on a very complex tint job for me on my 99 Camaro SS. I am impressed and very satisfied with the outcome.

Worst experience for car repair I've ever had. Kept my ride for over a week then told me to take it to a dealer, that he couldn't figure out the problem. (check engine light on). When I picked it up over 300 miles had been put on, cigarette/cigar ashes everywhere. Burn mark on the fabric on a backseat door. Dirty bootprints on passenger dash. I also found a mascara brush and empty lighter on the floor!! They obviously were driving the car for personal use. Took the car to Pat's Monon automotive repair on 54th st. Dropped it on Mon. had it back Wed. fixed and he only had to drive it around the block twice! I'm not one to complain but RON"S is NOT a reputable business. I regret taking my ride there. Go to Pat's for good reliable service.
My parents (my dad in his 80s) recently had them replace 4 tires. One of the rims came back badly scuffed up and they refused any responbility for it. Then they noticed that all of the change that had been in the change holder in the center console had been stolen and dad found a dime dropped in the driver's seat upon first getting the car returned to them. There was also a bag with a new shirt in it that had been left in the backseat that had been taken. Of course Indy Tire denied any responsibilty and refused to make any restitution. Be warned!!
New vehicles don't rust like they did years ago, but if you look under a vehicle that's been driven in salt for 3 winters you'll see rust! Most people don't care, since they only keep a vehicle 3 years. I wanted to get my new vehicle rustproofed, and decided to use Rust Check after looking at their website, and You Tube videos. Rust Check is a light oil-based liquid that doesn't dry, and creeps into the seams. I scheduled an appointment at Rust Check 5335 Madison Avenue. When I arrived, the gentleman asked if I had any questions. I told him there's plastic panels under most of the vehicle, and asked if they take them off. He said we'll take all the plastic panels off under the vehicle, then put them back on when we're finished. He said we spray the complete underside of the vehicle, under the hood, engine compartment, inside the front fenders, doors, and wheel wells. We remove the taillights, so we can spray all the metal inside the rear body panels. He said we do a thorough job, and it takes 1-hour to do the vehicle. The gentleman came out 45-minutes later, and said the vehicle was finished. I removed the taillights the next day to install LED bulbs, and the metal inside the rear body panels was dry. I removed the plastic panels under both sides of the vehicle to install running boards, and the bottom of the vehicle was dry. I installed back-up sensors, and had to remove a plastic cover under the vehicle before removing the bumper cover. The metal under the plastic cover, and behind the bumper cover was dry. I removed the rear driver side interior panel, so I could plug-in the wiring harness for the back-up sensors. The inner metal over the rear wheel opening was dry, and this is where a lot of vehicles rust. Obviously the taillights and plastic panels under the vehicle wasn't removed, when the vehicle was Rust Checked! If so, the metal would have been coated with the oil-based liquid. Keep in mind, Rust Check is only as good as the person that applies it!
