HORRIBLE! The Wyndham brand of hotels are a nice hotel chain. However, please stay AWAY from this particular location, Baymont Indianapolis East 2311 N. Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis In. This location has the rudest desk staff I have ever seen. Brittney P. works the front desk and has the nastiest attitude and is rude and unfriendly, she totally screwed up my reservation from day one. Brandy B. is the general manager, she puts on a smiley face but is also rude, I witnessed her yelling at a man in the breakfast area. I do not know what the relationship was between her and this man but she was very loud, rude and disrespectful to him. Claudia, who also works the front desk is of absolutely NO help at all in resolving issues with the hotel and none of them will give the name and contact info of the owner so that you can air a complaint. They wouldn't even give me the number to Wyndham Customer Care, I had to google it. The so called "hot" breakfast they serve on the weekend is absolutely horrible! You would be better off just walking across the yard to Bob Evans.The hotel has a LOT of unfinished "renovation" cosmetic flaws, which make the ENTIRE hotel and rooms look a MESS. The ice machine on the 4th floor did not work. I should have checked the reviews online for this location before I booked it because I would have seen all the bad reviews they have and booked somewhere else. Also please be aware that even tho the sign on the room door says check out time is 12:00 NOON! (I'm sure by now they have probably changed it after my dispute with them) it is actually 11:00 am and they will charge you $50 if you stay past checkout time!! And they DO NOT CARE if the sign was misleading! This staff is completely unforgiving, uncaring, unfriendly and RUDE. They will do ANYTHING to charge you extra money! Read the online reviews! Do yourself a favor and stay SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Thank YouWe were traveling from Warren, Mi to Gilbert, Az and back home and of our 8 motel rooms westayed at going to Az and our trip back home to Mi, this was the best of them all!. Our room wasso clean and nice; the breakfast was great, but most of all the employees made our trip...thank you

*Great place away from home*We got a lake side upstairs everything was great the young lady thats works nights(2nd shift ) was a big help when it came to what to eat. Everyone was nice it was like we was at home. rooms are clean, nice area, very helpful staff.

HORRIBLE PLACE, RUDE EMPLOYEES, THREAT MADE TO ME BY EMPLOYEES, HOSTILE PLACE! THE MOTEL IS RUNNING A THEFT ACTIVITY BY ASKING $50 KEY DEPOSIT AND THEN ACCUSING GUEST OF BREAKING THINGS THAT WERE ALREADY BROKEN. THE STAFF ARE VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, VERY GHETTO, DISRESPECTFUL AND THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM TO STEAL $50. SUING THEM TROUGH THE COURT OF LAW. BOOKING.COM MUST NOT HAVE SENT MY RESERVATION THERE AND BOOKING.COM SHOULD NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH SUCH MOTEL6. ITS VERY BAD THERE!

I stay at a lot of motels and this one has the most uncomfortable beds I've ever tried sleeping on, the floor is softer. There was standing water in the shower and this had the worst breakfast setup I have every had the displeasure of eating at. The waffle was raw in the inside and your only other choice was toast or one of two cereals, neither of which was filled for the guests. Will never stay here again. I feel completely ripped off.

We booked this hotel for my daughter's basketball tournament which got canceled. We canceled the ressrvation well before the deadline and was told we would not be charged. The Monday after our reservation, they charged us for a full night. And we were on vacation at the time, i really could have used the money. It has been almost two weeks and every time we call we get told the manager is not in or this person is not available and the people on the phone are incredibly rude. I called again today because I was assured the manager would be there. But now I'm being told I need to talk to Stephanie in accounting. I'm told she is only available 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday. I said, well it's Friday at 11, let me talk to her. She then tells me she is in training all day and I'll have to call Monday. And I'm told I can't have her direct number, I have to be transferred. You better hope they don't overcharge you or owe you a refund because you will never see your money.

I recently called the front office needing tom speak to my husband whom is there on business (and was not answering his cell). After calling for a half hour with no answer a gentle man answered the phone. When he answered I said "Hello I was wondering if I could please speak to a guest."Operator: Do you have a room number? Me: No. But I know he is staying there. Him: If you don't have a room number I can't help youMe: Well can I leave him a message its for my children's fatherHim: I can't do anything without a room number.Me: Dude your killing me. You can't take a message? Him: I can't do anything without a room number.THAN he hung up the phone on me! When I called back. I told him he was rude and I was going to talk to his boss. He was than hung up AGAINMy third and final try. He answered when he did. I instantly told him upon answering that I was going to write a negative review online. In which he replied "Go ahead I have a friend at google that can erase it and if I called again he would file harassment"If this is how they treat their potential guest and the people whom may need to contact them! I STRONGLY recommend another company! I'm grateful my child isn't in the hospital and WILl be telling him when he answers! Harassment! How about rude!
