This use to be my favorite restaurant. Very poor service. Waiter was horrible. I had to cancel my sushi because it never showed up. I had to go get my wife’s drink after 30 min and asking him 3x I did it myself. NEVER WILL WE BE BACK! The manager did not seem to care. Just said “So sorry”.

This review is about Barcelona Tapas' disorganized, unprofessional management.Mike, the GM, had set up an interview with me.I was eager for this job, nervous, dressed up of course, parked in what had to be Barcelona Tapas parking lot.My dress clothes were a bit wet when I walked into Barcelona Tapasbecause it was pouring rain, but aside from that I think I was presentable.Eventually, finally, I talk with Michael (the Assistant General Manager who is running the show at this day and time), and Assistant General Manager Michael tells me that neither Mike nor Frank are ever here on this day at this time.That's right. Mike--the GM who had set up my interview--was not there. Frank--the owner--was not there (when I talked with Mike previously, he had even mentioned to me that Frank would be there as well... I remember my conversation with Mike the week before, "...if Frank says 'Yes' then you're definitely in." or words to that effect).After waiting at least ten minutes for Michael (Assistant General Manager) to get to the bottom of this by phoning Mike GM, Mike told me, "He completely forget, but you can come back some time next week [and work for free for a couple hours to see how it goes]." (I'm not 100% certain that last part was what he meant, but in our conversation the previous week that's what Mike GM asked me to do for the first interview day, which I was okay with since he wanted to see how I would do).No apology from Assistant GM Michael. He just relayed the message, "He completely forgot, but you can come in next week some day if you want."This really rubbed me the wrong way. In the rain I walked back to my car which was parked in the only lot that could've been Barcelona Tapas. A parking ticket on my windshield. Perfect.Of course after this experience I'm never returning to Barcelona Tapas, and to be honest I'm now motivated to work at one of its competitors and actively promote other eateries and restaurants near me.

Interesting decor and menu selection. You can ask for the spicy sauce to be on the side to make your dish more or less spicy. Attentive service and interesting decor. I wish for a wider selection of seafood choices, but other than that- thumbs up.
This is my favorite find in Indianapolis, I was born and raised here. The menu is great, the atmosphere is perfect, the staff is mythical.
Food was delicious and service was friendly. I'm not sure what the cuisine is....but I'm guessing Casual American dining...
I called in today to ask what time they closed at and was told 7 p.m. So I showed up at a little before 5 to get my oil changed. One of the guys working there told me that they "weren't doing any more oil changes today" and to "come in earlier next time, bro". I didn't realize that two hours before you closed was too late to get some work done. And it wasn't even like they had a bunch of cars to still work on. There were no other cars in the lot waiting other than mine. Yes, there were a couple of cars they were working on, but even then they had a couple of spots open in the shop. It seems ridiculous to tell me that you're open until 7 and then turn me away two hours before close.
The staff is great, just make sure that when you are purchasing that you get everything you ordered... ordered a bedroom set that came with out the headboard... but when we went back to let them know staff apologized and took care of it immediately got the piece needed and was able to finally get my bedroom together
I always liked shopping at Roses while in Galax, VA. And I am glad to see the name in Indianapolis, IN.
