Had a transmission done 2 years ago still running great---also have done many other services at 2-3 different stores--once again great work in a timely manor--Go there and say Matt Schnorr sent you!!
Not at all satisfied with the service I received at the Michigan Road location. Took my car in to have the free diagnostic test ran. Later on that day I received a call saying that to really find out the problem they would need to run more test and that it would be 105.00. Sure anything to get the car running right. About 2 hours later I received another call saying the car was ready for pick up. When my boyfriend and I got their, we was informed that it was my "throttle body" and that they could not fix the problem because it required the part being programmed so I would most likely need to go to a deal. At this point and time I was okay with the results, I had got a tune up, changed my pedal position sensor, and even my 02 senors and the car was still acting crazy. I was just happy to know what was wrong. My boyfriend found a mom and pop shop, I showed them the paper for the test I received at Edwards and asked could they perform the work. They did. Come to find out my throttle body was fine, it was a clogged catalytic converter. Do good job Edward on getting a free 100.00. When I called and told them about my experience, all they did was down the shop who got my car back running. WILL NOT RETURN HERE EVER AGAIN.
Moved to Beechgrove IN please look for address on Emerson Ave that is correct address for Trans Gear
rich was very informative and helpful, i felt like he genguinely cared about me and my car which is more than i can say for some places i've been to in the past. you've got a new customer rich!
man I was freaking out when I brought my car in but it turns out it was just a wheel bearing. I respected the fact that edwards fixed what was wrong and ONLY fixed waht was wrong, they didnt' try to upsell me on a bunch of crap and for that I'll be back when I need more work, thanks edwards!
they did pretty good work, i had to take it back once but after that it has been fine
I have to finish paying off my bill before I can pick the truck up but I did take it on a test drive after they fixed it and it's working great. It's rally nice that john isn't charging me anything extra while I pay off the bill, he understands that we arent all rich...
I have to start joke that is exactly what this place is.I took my T56 trans already out of the car and i told them i want a complete rebuild no hurry 3/5 week build time, they asked me why the rebuild i told them high milage and im doing a high performance build and 2to3 and4to5 was grinding with bearing noise and cracked belhousing.they called me back 3 weeks later to say everything looked new and they put it back together with same parts and charged me $300 for a used dirty belhousing then i told them again iwas having problems with the trans they told me to bring it back if i have problems, and i did have the same problems so i took it back 2/3 more times each trip they kept my car for 3 weeks they tryied to tell me my whole problem was the pilot bearing i told jeff i dont see how a pilot bearing could efect just the 2 shifting points it would be ll gears not jst 2 jeff told me open for 30 yrs i dont have room to tell them how to do thear job but a week later i get my car i was wright they ended up replacing rings and sincronizers it was jeff bradly that was feeding me all this bull s#*& they tried to srew me and at first he wouldnt give me a work order until i told him he was not getting my keys until i got one then he gave me one. DONT EVER GO THERE ORE YOU WILL GET SCREWED!!!!!!
I was very impressed with the service I got at edwards transmissions in greenwood. The manager there rodney was very kind and professional and I was amazed at how clean the shop was for being a mechanics shop, normally those kinds of places are pretty dirty but you could tell that he took pride in his business and made sure that his guys kept it clean. A++ to this company.
