One of the few places that grooms cats. They did a good job especially with my older grumpy cat who can be hard to handle.
I will not be taking my dog back there again. We went on vacation and boarded her at this place due to its good reviews on here. She came back with hot spots, infected feet, puppy pyroderma, and kennel cough... I can understand the kennel cough and even the hot spots but infected feet and pyroderma are you serious??? Not to mention we paid for a grooming on the day we came back and it was completely half done. They only gave a top bath no trimming nails or hair in between toes and her stomach was black when we picked up. I should have taken her to good dog.
Hi, if you're reading this, absolutely don't use Camp Bow Wow. We used them a few weeks ago for overnight boarding for the weekend. Fortunately, we downloaded the Doggy Cam app so we could watch our dog play while we're away. Much to our dismay, we barely saw our dog playing. Like, we saw her once, maybe twice per day. For hours on end, their play areas were empty. When we flew back home and picked her up, we asked the 2 girls on staff why we never saw our dog (or any dog) in the play areas. They hesitated and looked away - a sure sign that this question made them uncomfortable. She explained that "the weekend schedule is different" and dogs only "had playtime during mealtimes". So, if you're ok dropping your dog off so she or her can sit in a cage for 2 straight days, this is the place for you. If you actually want your dog to play and be happy while you're away, I suggest choosing one of the many other overnight boarding camps.I should say, our dog hasn't been the same since. She's now very skittish around other groups of dogs. It breaks my heart that she's not the same and my only recourse is to ensure that no one uses Camp Bow Wow ever again.
Who wants a convicted child murderer anywhere near their pets? I have no sympathy for anyone heartless enough to pour gasoline on a 12 year old and burn her alive. I get that she was young, but I knew right from wrong even at the age of 15. It shouldn't justify anything and I'm appalled that any place could employ someone like this
Very nice service, always available especially that I often call with my last minute reservations. Dogs are very happy and tired after. One of them Xavier, is very high maintenance and does not like to go to day cares, but he seems happy to go to Camp Bow Wow. Thank you for taking care of my boys!
I cannot say enough great things about this daycare. I have recommended this place to SEVERAL friends and rescue groups. While the person below was upset about a scheduling issue, this has not been the case for my family, my rescue group family or coworkers that have attended Wigglebutt since its opening. The owners, Ben and Nardra are some of the most rescue friendly people I know. They work closely with many groups in our city to help with temporary boarding of foster dogs. Although I am a long time customer, there have been a couple of times when I make a last minute call and they are full and I can't get in. I GET THAT! I understand that the line has to be drawn. I know first hand also that they have been full and have taken my dogs because they were aware of a family emergency. When I was unaware of a cut my dog had on his pad, they found it and called me. I was able to get my dog into the vet immediately. The wound was a couple of days old and I was SO gateful they found it. This business donates weekly passes to rescue goups for fundraising raffles. They organize a team for the MuttStrutt each year. Their workers volunteer for rescue group events. The facility is clean and well cared for. All four of our dogs go to Wigglebutt. All of them have some "special needs" in one way or another, either behaviorally or health. The staff has ALWAYS worked closely with our family to make sure everything is taken care of. I have NEVER been disappointed by this business and give it 5 stars...would give 10 if I could.
WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. I called Wigglebutt on a Saturday to make a boarding reservation for the following Friday. The girl who talked to me on the phone said they'd be pretty full, but if I brought our dog in for a play day and she played well with the other dogs they would squeeze her in. Her words were, "If you need a place we won't turn you away. That's not how we do business." Well, apparently it is how they do business. I drove an hour round-trip Monday for her play day, she did well, and I made the reservation. I was called back 2 hours later and told they would NOT take her. They were too full. Now I'm left with 4 days before our vacation starts and I have to go back to square one looking for a place to board her. Hopefully the next one I talk to won't make a reservation and then cancel it on me. I will never do business with Wigglebutt again.
My dogs and I think this is the best dog care place ever!! Not sure who tiffanapolis dealt with there, but everyone I have dealt with has been wonderful! Love the place. I believe they truely care for each dog in their care. Also of importance to me and my dogs - they are not caged up all day. They can be inside or outside. We love WIgglebutt.
If there was an option to leave zero stars, I would. The volatile bimbo that reigns over this facility is actually the only drawback but there is nothing they do that is so spectacular as to cause a caring pet parent to overlook her and her atrocious attitude.
This place is amazing! The staff is very knowledgable, and know everyone's name and every dogs name that comes in! I feel like family when I walk in!
