I have had on going issues with the staff for months. On 1/24/17 I came into the office and requested a copy of all maintenance request pink slips because I wasn't getting them and I was putting in several requests for the same issues and showed the property mgr the receipts that I did have and how it was an ongoing trend.. 1/26/17 I came back to the office to see if those records were available for me to pick and was told to allow 48hrs. That Monday 1/30\\17 I came back to see if they were ready and they still weren't and requested to speak with the property mgr who told me that those records were maintained by the maintenance supervisor Josh, who was then called by Wallis talkie to come to the office. When he arrived he told me that someone from corporate is supposed to organize that stuff and had been months since the girl from corporate did that. I then advised the maintenance supervisor of my issue of reporting the same request and it not being resolved and let him know that he should be following up on that and he told me that I can't tell him how to do his job and we got into a heated argument in front of the whole office staff including other residents..This is just a small piece of my complaint with these apartments. my complaint is for pages long typed.i hope someone from corporate reads this and seriously considers calling me. I'm in the process of sending it to RTV6/ Rafael Sanchez so I can get some help. I also have videos and phone recordings if you are interested Sincerely, apt 107 who has had it at this point with the shady practices of this staff
All of the appliances that were already here have proven to be old and out of proper shape for new ownership. I have had to clean and fix them myself.I had to send my eldest child away for a week because the ceiling in my bathroom caved in due to outdated plumbing in the bathroom above me. I suffered a migraine for three days over it. After having fixed the issue, my bathroom is STILL unfinished because I had to break down the door because my son was locked in the bathroom due to the warping of the top of the door caused by the water damage. There is still water damage on the walls and ceilings. I have complained via phone and voicemail and email. My water bill jumped 20$ due to all of the plumbing issues they've had because of outdated hardware. Not to mention the day I went without water so they could replace the outdated water meters. The windows and outside walls are so poorly insulated that I have to have the heat at 75 degrees when we sleep because the rooms are freezing.I am going to have to make a phone call to the Board of Health because I have complained about a cockroach infestation that was built up in the ceiling of my kitchen before I even moved in. There has been not one, not two, but THREE instances about a month apart where a cockroach has crawled out of the ceiling. I'm just grateful for how clean of a person I am or it might be worse. The first time I complained to the front office, they pretty much called me a liar. The second time they came and sprayed a pesticide in my house. The third time I killed the cockroach and KEPT IT FOR THEM. Then sprayed the cabinet to "prevent" the issue. I know what a cockroach scout looks like. I can email the picture I took to anyone interested in seeing it. sahmi.blake gmailAll I've asked for is compensation for everything I've dealt with. I have been respectful, clean, never had a complaint, and paid all of my bills on time every month.DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. IT WILL BE THE WORST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE.
Drug dealers, roaches, and an unhelpful staff. Other inhabitants are of the lowest caliber. Although renovations are underway, DON'T BE FOOLED. This place is forever doomed. Holes in the ceiling that won't be fixed, cracks down the walls, and communal areas that are NEVER vacuumed, swept, etc... In the first few months of living there, 2 cars (on different occurrences) were smashed-up right outside my building. Please.... Don't live here if you value your own life
I stayed their as an iupui student. They have two elevators and if not both one is always broken. They don't care to fix or replace in a timely manner so you will find yourself waiting 10/20 minutes for the elevator. I lived on the 11th floor as well so I tried to avoid taking stairs of possible but the wait wasn't worth it. Also every apartment is different; furniture, carpet, appliances. i was lucky and got a decent apart.
Please don't move in here. I have made several complaints (verbal and written) about mice in my apartment; exterminators come out and leave a note that says they set traps, but they don't. It took four verbal complaints for my bathroom faucet to run water. The staff are completely disorganized and uncaring. The laundry facilities usually only have two washers and two dryers working at a time and you have to use a laundry card which has to be loaded every couple of weeks. The problem with the laundry card is that the machine to load money (which breaks all the time) onto it is only in the leasing office, which is only open on regular business Monday-Friday, a couple of hours on Saturday, and not at all on Sunday. The location is convenient as it is very close to downtown without actually being downtown. The price is pretty good in comparison to many other apartment complexes in Indianapolis. Overall, I would strongly suggest living somewhere else if you have the means to do so.
The worst place in Indiana. Staff very ignorant, non-trained and ignorant. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT at all. Such a bad place to be. It needs to be shut down.
Absolutely horrible place to live. Promised so much but has been awful since first week. Apartments are broken down, appliances are pitiful, bathrooms disgusting and frequently busted. The staff are rude and unhelpful as soon as you sign lease. All kinds of bugs, roaches and infestations, filthy amenities, and rents that are far too high for the standards here. Live anywhere but here!
Constantly going through managers, so you never see the same manager twice. Lied about items still being in the apartment that were most definitely moved, as well as claimed we gave them "insufficient notice" on moving out (we gave them exactly 60 days) and billed us for their own falsehoods. Awful apartment structure - the maintenance man had to constantly come in to fiddle with out thermostat, which controlled the temperature for our whole block. A remote control thermostat is equal to or less than 100$, and since we were the control apartment, we would freeze in the summer and burn up in the winter - we had to constantly open windows during the coldest, snowiest nights just so we wouldn't overheat. Do not waste your money at this awful, awful place.
I really wanted my Stone Lake Apartment to work, but after the maintenance men running in and out of my apartment more than my own personal guests, I am breaking my least very early. I had a flea problem, that was taken care of fast. I had a small outlet fire, water main break in one of the bed rooms, that flooded the carpet floor. Very very cold closets and floors, super high eletric bill, and 3-4 different times maintenance had been in to fix a fuse. Very quite neighbors. Wonderful amenities. It took over a month for Washing Machine company to refund my money, for broken washer I used. While letting them know I needed to break my lease agreement and move, they gave the feel of penalty money, money, money was more important than my safety. FYI get renters insurance.
