I have had two different surgeries done by the doctors at Methodist Sports Medicine. Dr. Dale Snead repaired my left shoulder. Dr. Jonathan Smerek repaired my left Achilles tendon. Both injuries were chronic long term injures that required considerable expertise. I'm happy to report that today I am able to not only do what used to be routine efforts with these tendons, but I am able to work out as hard as I want. My pain continues to decrease the longer I get from each of the surgeries. Both doctors were very clear communicators of the situation and the options. And the follow-up post surgery was awesome. My biggest problem now is which chronic injury to have repaired next with Methodist Sports Medicine.

I'm trying to find a good orthopedic dr... My friend use to be seen here she highly recommened it.. Does anyone know if they take medicaid???
I came to the Shoe Fit by word or mouth recommendation and praise for the ownerSheryl. After purchasing a set of off the shelfshoe insert (their recommendation), I became acustomer and was assured that if the inserts did not work, Sheryl would custom make a set for me. Well, they did not work after several attempts on their part to alter them to fit. I developed corns on my toes on each foot and after a few months noticed a black spot on my left big toe which I thought was unrelated. I immediately went to a dermatologist becauseof the spot on my big toe and was told I needed to have the toe biopsied for fear of skin cancer. After the very painful biopsy came back negative for skin cancer the dermatologist and my primary care physician suggested that since I could not recall trauma to that toe, I might have a discussion with the Shoe Fit regarding the inserts which could have caused the problem. When I returned to the store with the inserts, Sheryl became very defensive (without even looking at my toe) and proceeded to tell me there was no way this was caused by inserts. keep in mind, she did not manufacture them and she expressed no interest in looking at my toe. She did refund the cost of the inserts but let me know that she did not have to because the purchase was non-refundable but stated "it was not worth it" (I am assuming she meant to take the time to hear me out). I found her behavior astounding and most unprofessional. Word of mouth brought me there so I am using my voice to share my experience so those reading this can decide if the Shoe Fit is worth it.
I bought a pair of athletic shoes for $150, a pair of sandals for $150 and custom orthotics for $400. I wore the shoes one time for about 6 hours and hated them. They hurt so badly. I went back to the store to return the shoes. They absolutely would not do a return. I had the shoes in the original box with all the packaging. They would not take them back. Biggest waste of $150 ever. I was not very happy with the custom orthotics either but I will learn to live with them. But the shoes I absolutely hate. They hurt way too much. I am extremely dissatisfied with these shoes and with the customer service at this store. I will never do business with them again.
Appt was at 11:30 at 12:40 couldn't wait any longer, cancelled and won't be back
Dr. Starsiak is great! He set my 10 year old sons arm and made him at ease! Entire team that helped were amazing! Thanks
After three visits for muscular pain in my BACK the doctor continues to diagnose me for NECK pain. I have wasted four months being "treated" for pain I never had while the pain I saw him for is no better. He either does not listen to me or just simply doesn't care.
this dr. is very RUDE, he left my wife and I waiting in the exam room for over a hour he finaly came in never spoke then left again we waited another 30 min only to find out he was DONE I would rather suffer than see this ***&&^&**&^&
I was thrilled to learn about this practice from a trusted friend and fellow runner. A couple days prior to my 1st marathon, I developed a terrible pain in my left knee. I figured it would take a long time to get in, but was pleasantly surprised to get a same-day appointment. Dr. Peterson was WONDERFUL. Not only did he diagnose and prescribe a brace, but he followed up with me the morning of my race with a phone call! Office staff was friendly, too. Highly recommended!
The office is very friendly, clean, and professional. The nurses have always been curteous and efficient. The wait times can be a bit long, that's the only thing that keeps this office from getting 5 stars in my book. I've been a patient of Dr. Wolf for over 8 years.
