- Shadeland Flower Shop is a family owned and operated business that began serving Indianapolis in 1963. The business was started as a full-service nursery, greenhouse, and retail flower shop, serving the far-eastside of the city. In 1980, we moved the flower shop to a newly developed retail center at 75th & Shadeland, where we prospered for 27 years, serving the busy northeast side of Indianapolis. In July of 2007, we celebrated our 44th year in business by building and moving into our new state-of-the-art facility at 71st and Binford Blvd, in the beautifully redeveloped retail center called Avalon Crossing. We have highly skilled designers on staff who are dedicated to excellence in design. The sales and support staff serve up great customer service. We believe flowers are our best advertising and we always seek the newest technology and the freshest product to put our name on. We are very proud of the quality of our designs. We deliver to the entire Indianapolis area, and several adjoining towns. Our own driver, in our truck, carefully delivers in a timely way. All hospitals, funeral homes, businesses, schools, are within our delivery area.

Best shop in town ! Great people, great work awesome business. .. real great experience with there services.
My mom ordered flowers from this shop from St. Louis with a teleflora catalog when her best friend died. It was clear, since this shop was sending the flowers to a funeral home they thought the sender would not see them. My mom ordered a statue of Jesus, first of all, and they put in a crucifix. The flowers were correct, but they made a center piece-something I could have thrown together at a grocery store myself for about $25-my moms bill, $103. So, first the funeral director called and was hung up on. Then he brought me to his office and she hung up on me, but did call back a few minutes later. Said she got it wrong and would have a replacement out before the end of the wake-showed up 5 minutes before the end with an even shoddier piece. It was just a bunch of filler and 1/2 dead asters that looked as though they'd been spray painted. She also insinuated my mom was confused, basically because she was older. It was very insulting. And I just said it was not the time and place to haggle so we left it at that and went in to finish the prayer service. Really, really sad.
Diane and her husband were absolutely wonderful in helping me with an order.
So helpful and thoughtful in suggestions. I felt completely assured.
