My husband has been very sick for a week now. I found this office online and scheduled an appointment for him. The lady I spoke too, to make the appointment was immediately rude with me but I just blew it off as to a possible bad day. It mainly had good reviews and looked like a nice place, so he went to his appointment.
An hour later he called to explain how awful his visit had been. Since he was a new patient, he was given a packet of information to fill out. He was told that while he was filling it out they would let other people go ahead of him (he was 15 min. early to his apt.) he didnt have the option of taking the paperwork in his room with him. When he handed the paperwork back the office staff argued that he hadnt completed it all because there was no way he had completed it that quickly. He advised that he had filled it out accept the last page due to the fact it was N/A. The front office lady replied with ""Fine, I will just fill it out FOR YOU and HOPE that I get the information right.""
He waited in the room for 45 min. and had 7 other patients go in before him that had appointments AFTER his. Once he was in the room he saw Dr. Daftari, whom spent 2 min. exactly with him, and he was done. Her bedside manner was absolutely horrid! She was curt, rude, and uncaring. She asked my husband three times if he was a smoker (he is not and never has been) she tried saying she didnt believe him, thus calling him a liar! She said ""what can I do for you? Why are you here?"" My husband had replied that he had been sick for an entire week with a high fever, chills, cold sweat, cough, ect...and she said ""AND SO...what do you want me to do for you?"" She gave him cough syrup and said "" I dont know what is wrong with you, here is some cough syrup but it wont actually help your cough."" Come on, is that what physicians are trained in school? I hope not.
The way he was treated was appalling to me, I cannot believe a legit doctors office has staff, too and including the physicians that actually treat people like this. I have been in the medical/healthcare industry for 5 years and will definately never go back here and will NEVER refer anyone I know here. The way they treat their patients leaves nothing to be desired. If you want a front office staffphysician that is rude, sarcastic, short and uncaring, then this is the place to go.
